Re: Hi all! New here... few questions about the PCX UK

The intervals on the PCX are 2500 miles or twelve months whichever comes first. But new Vespas are 6000 miles.... so although more expensive to buy, are cheaper to run with less depreciation and far higher cool factor. The new Forza 125 is 4000 miles and the Forza 300 is 8000 miles. Mines on 5k and...

Re: Comparing Forzas performances...

Every bike me needs a good flogging every now and then. If you don't exercise the high end of all the power train/gear, it does not go there as easily. JMO, as a fac rep for both Honda and BMW.

Mine gets spirited driving about once a month.

Re: J.Costa variator on 2015 PCX 125 ESP

I kept everything the same on my 15 , and just swapped the stock rollers for some $29 13g dr pulley sliders. Substantial change in acceleration, I don't need to do anything else. Top end still above 58 or so.

Re: drain bolt size

Thanks..

investigating, the f107s Fumoto is shorter than the exhaust pipe clearance so it'll work, ...stay tuned...owned 4 fumoto's, they work great. Also had a few dipstick pumps on my marine engines, never felt they got it as much as draining when hot......

drain bolt size

What is the size of the threads on the crank\case drain bolt? M8, M10 etc....thanks. Just changed oil, a bit messy for my condo association, I'm getting a hold of Fumoto tech, mounting a valve as there is plenty of room and height....stay tuned...

Re: New PCX today!

Wow these are the easiest decals that I've ever mounted. They lay completely flat using the liquid technique For decals ,and they also have a gloss over them so that it looks like you clearcoated them. … Very surprised, nice mod, well see if i keep it.... http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h307/gersl...

Re: New PCX today!

So now it's time to do the graphics… I'm not really sold on this package, but it is typical H2C high-quality and came packed perfectly from bikerzbits, I worry about decals that are shipped in the mail. The great thing about decals is they come off as fast as they go on ....LOL......until I find a d...

Here's a mod I would not do again:(my opin) the bikerbitz triple clamp garnish on the handlebars. The piece is nice, but the stock clamps are nice enuf!...(ignore the missing bolt covers, just test fit the item)

Re: New PCX today!

Speaking of cleaning, if you are not using a rinseless procedure instead of quick detailer, you are missing a vital procedure that will make your life a lot easier. It cleans better than a quick detailer and does not scratch. I just the scooter in 5-10 min, the car in 15...... I have written this up...

Re: New PCX today!

One last one for the night, the stainless polished fuel filler door. The piece is a stick on with the supplied VHB tape, but when you fit it, the tape adds height and the door is no longer flush with surface. Solution: strip the VHB in a GooGone bath, and affix to the existing door with a thin unifo...

Re: New PCX today!

Its hard to assess perf increase because i changed sliders and bike is still in break-in. Sound is better, see the vids on youtube....wide open it really opens up. Around town it is quite acceptable. The quality of this product is first rate, well packed and devoid of any defects. Kit bolted up perf...
