Re: Big Brother to PCX
You wouldn't happen to know the Forza's price in Spain? I just checked Honda Spain's web and the price is not listed. The model is there, but no price. I was pretty sure that what I saw were 300s (the shape of the bike is different than the 250) but this puts me in doubt. I'll ask the dealer, thoug...

Re: Battery went flat today
A happy ending for you, but there will probably be others not so lucky. In the UK we have an organisation called " Trading Standards " who deal with consumer protection, if there's a Spanish equivalent I think you should definitely bring this issue to their attention. Yeah, there is an eq...

Mines called Gerald Fag No thanks. Don't smoke. When I used to have both American and Brits in my working environment, the sentence "I'm going outside to have a fag" always raised some smiles on the American's faces :D . Two nations separated by the same language?. Wasn't the only case, t...

So far, I've seen a couple of those Forza 300 on the move in my town. Surprising that they aren't selling it in the UK yet.gn2 wrote:The Forza was supposed to go on sale in the UK this month but launch date has slipped and Honda have not set a new date, just a vague "Summer 2013".

Re: Battery went flat today
Picked her up this morning. Bad and good news. The bad news, Honda Spain refused to provide a new battery. The good news, the dealer has installed a new one for free. As said, I was happy with them so far and I'm now happier. The workshop manager told me that they had replaced some fifteen -or so- b...

Re: Battery went flat today
Precedent has been set already, there are members on here who have had replacement batteries under warranty, its a known problem. No reason why you shouldn't get one too, so try to be calm..... and be nice to the dealer ;) I've been nice to the dealer today and plan on being nice to them in the fut...

Battery went flat today
At a traffic light. I had my idle stop engaged although I had been reluctant to use it lately, having found out that it took her some effort to start her engine in the mornings. Told so at the dealership for the 4000 kms inspection and the workshop supervisor told me they have been warned about a ba...

Re: Replacement Windshield
My PCX is black and I have a short Givi, smoked version, installed on. I will be replacing it after summer for a tall Ermax. I'm 5 ft 9 1/2" and I "enjoy" considerable wind buffeting with it. It makes long rides VERY unconfortable, to the point that I wear earplugs when I ride for mor...

Re: PCX's ECU
Well, my thought was that with the proper knowledge (case of a person like my mate) it would be possible to locate any map that has to do with the speed limiter, edit it and see what happens. Some say the restriction is electronic and others think it has to do with the variator, it would be a good ...

Re: Tidying the PCX!
Thank you very much, mate. I have to admit that it does look much better than I thought. I was worried that it would be a bit too tall for a relatively small scooter like the PCX is, but it looks pretty well balanced. I'm a bit under 5 ft 10" so I hope it does better when it comes to wind buffe...

Re: EFI Controller for PCX-125
Unless the PCX is running very lean (likely) dumping more fuel in won't make any noticeable difference. Best performance, if I'm not mistaken, is obtained when the air to fuel ratio is at or close to stoichiometric values (14.7 to 1). Running rich would worsen performance. Running too lean is also d...
