Re: Easiest Way to Remove the Front Cover

I found an easy way to make certain that each screw was returned to it's point of origin: I scanned each page from the service manual into the computer for the requisite work area so I can print them as needed any time, then poke each screw into it's spot in the picture on the printed page. I can co...

Why no Michelin City Grip 90/90/14 Available Stateside?

Can't seem to find any Michelin City Grips for the front in the U.S.A.
Every site lists them as "no longer available".

Anyone know what is going on?

If you have safe storage space, I would purchase the needed parts now.

Re: PCX design flaw--IMHO

You could get pinned no matter what you did, it is inherent due to the nature of how you sit on a bike. Well....no....not actually. But I know what you meant to say. Experienced riders will feel the slide commence but may still react improperly - that is; stick a leg out to stop it. Tremendously un...

Re: PCX design flaw--IMHO

Why would the bike take this crazy lunge in the direction opposite to where its inertia wants to carry it? Well, in an accident there are more forces unleashed than are dreamt of in Horatio's or anybody else's philosophy. Inertia really played no part in the bike's unpredictable change of motion re...

Wow Tommy, I'm so sorry. I did not know that was your bike.
I hopped up there to impress this really hot monkey babe about my wheels that I was trying to score with, and, man, she rolled with that tall, built Macaque dude on the Forza anyway. Sorry 'bout the mess on your seat man.

There are very few, if any, defects that Honda / Yamaha / Suzuki / Kawasaki / BMW / Ford / General Motors / Chrysler / Royal Enfield / Tesla / Volkswagen / Huffy will acknowledge. It is for a 125 the same dimensions as a stock honda belt.
Is that right? Sheepishly, I admit I've not tried the OEM Honda with the Yumi, I should and come spring, will.

Would be a bit of an overkill wouldn't it :-) hmmm...I thought suing them for the costs of the rental, diesel, and labor was going to be the 'overkill' part. Seriously, any entity so arrogant as to not deign to even respond to a customer's inquiry with the usual, expected diversionary lie, de...

Re: How to install - Yuminashi 2015 variator kit

I have written Gates twice requesting information on where to purchase the SB50026 belt domestically. Twice they have ignored me. If it were legal I'd rent a bulldozer and flatten every building their company has for doing so. I have sourced the belt through a Gates distributor and was told directly...

Re: Unsafe To Use Yuminashi Variator With Dr. Pulley Sliders

I'm using the stock belt on my 2013 pcx 150 and the Yuminashi 2015 kit. Top speed on road is 130kmh and 140 on Central stand. Im planning to change the belt at 1/2 mileage of the original setup... I've already rode 7k km I am saving the still new OEM belt for emergency back-up. I fear it would not ...

Try Irfanview as a free photo editor to compress your photos so they don't take so long to load. http://www.irfanview.com/ . Hi Sendler, It's not that big. Even my USB mobile modem with only 1Mbps max speed load the whole pictures in less than 10 seconds. I don't know if http://www.uploadhouse.com ...

Re: Unsafe To Use Yuminashi Variator With Dr. Pulley Sliders

I wish I could use that belt but the Yuminashi belt specifications diverge from the 2013 and the 2015 PCX150. Their parts pages are not well written, but they make it clear that the longer (SB50053) belt for the 2013 kit should not be used on the 2015. Why, I have no idea. Looking back, the rubber t...

The Givi mirror-height screen seems to have the best aerodynamics - by far. Easier on the engine than anything taller or shorter.

Re: Unsafe To Use Yuminashi Variator With Dr. Pulley Sliders

Right. Installed the OEM Yuminashi 10g rollers and cleaned the F/R disc faces meticulously (I had NO idea how important this is) free of fingerprints * and went for a cruise. +400 RPM at speed ( MPG will drop slightly). Rollers add ~ +1000 RPM to takeoff vs sliders, (which is now in power band - OK)...
