Pcx hybrid

Neat idea. The U.S. MSRP might be a bit prohibitive if it comes stateside. Love to try out the electric.

Re: What To Do...? Muffler Rattle...

Here is the latest; After some local welding shops gave un-confidence inspiring responses, I just happened to mention the problem to a friend who works in an automotive body shop and, bingo! , he said he does that kind of welding regularly, would not charge me, and that an inexperienced welder would...

Re: What To Do...? Muffler Rattle...

Thanks Dave. If no pictures of the interior exist then that is what must be done and, if it still rattles I will have little choice but to cut the end off and look for a broken weld there. I may have located a local welding shop with sufficient expertise to weld such thin metal. I'll report back wit...

What To Do...? Muffler Rattle...

When I removed the Exhaust on my 2015 PCX150 in order to change the tire I heard something loose inside the muffler - rattling. I assumed the baffle had broken loose, but I'm no longer sure that is the situation. With no skill at welding I am reluctant to cut it open - especially so because where th...

Re: Keys, Keys

I just picked up my 2017, and I got 2 keys and the metal tag. Someone posted they did get an owner's manual with theirs but I made a point to ask about it and they gave me one along with the keys. By the way, white is the color. I'll see if I can post a picture in another post. Congrats! Best bike ...

Re: YSS G Shock Arrived - Could Use A Little Help

I hope that you installed these with the gas reservoir on the top?? That is where they should be on your scoot, not upside down like we see most of the time. I saw these in person and turned them down for the opposite style(just my personal preference). Enjoy and let us know what you think compared...

Re: YSS G Shock Arrived - Could Use A Little Help

you don't want lateral play in the shock mounts... use washers to shim. those shocks look nice, by chance can you weigh them for me.(pounds or grams) Dashredder, I apologize but I did not see your post until too late and the shocks were already installed, so weighing them was not an option. However...

Re: YSS G Shock Arrived - Could Use A Little Help

With concerns now alleviated, I mounted the shocks and, as respondents noted, the bushings are all there. I can be such a worrywart sometimes... Thanks Mel for your wisdom. You were right. Report: Outstanding! These YSS shocks have a feature the stock Showa's didn't: The ability to lessen the impact...

Re: YSS G Shock Arrived - Could Use A Little Help

OK, I must be expecting too much from the maker - over-worrying about the extra play at the bottom.
Thanks all. I'll go ahead and put the shocks in and make a small report.

Well, yes, the box is labeled as for the PCX. Maybe I'm expecting too much, you think?

YSS G Shock Arrived - Could Use A Little Help

The YSS G Shocks from BikerBitz arrived. YES! I did not pay for speedier shipping but it only took 6 weeks from Thailand. http://i67.tinypic.com/23m3psj.jpg First of all, thanks to Dave for great how-to-install thread! . I hope it's that easy on the 2015! One question though please; The only directi...

I couldn't figure out what that thing was for so I've been using it to turn dogs on the barbie. Works great too!

Re: What has been your longest continual ride on the PCX?

Thanks for the pictures Mel. It helps in choosing a seat upgrade. My rides are rarely under 100 miles and I need a better one but, so far the only retailer of custom seats that I can find for the 2015 are from Bikerbitz - and I have no idea which is best for long trips. Maybe I should start with a A...

Mel's aftermarket shocks and seat are probably the deal-makers for long rides.

Got a pic of that seat Mel?

Re: windshield

Just checked revzilla and they show the tallest (D1130ST @ 32" high) windshield for the '15 PCX150 in stock. Now, if the rider is around 6' - 6'4" or so, the D1130ST is reported to place the wind blast right at the helmet, making the slightly shorter D1136ST (25") a better choice. YMMV.
