Tire Question

Hi All, I know nothing about this so I figured I would ask. How does one go about having new tires put on? Do I purchase the tyres separately then ask my dealer to put them on? Does this cost more than a service? Less? Popping them on myself isn't an option, I wouldn't know where to start nor do I h...

Re: Servicing Schedule AUSTRALIA

Thanks guys :) That matches up with what the dealer has now told me - 1000kms for $150. He says after that it's 6000kms then every 6000ks from there. I was asking because I wanted to know if I'd be taking it straight back soon after I bought it. That fortunately won't be the case.

Finally ordered!!!

Have been into the dealer, test driven the pcx, and fallen in love :D Finally ordered and will be picking up my new scoot on Monday!! So excited!! Looking forward to having something other than an unreliable public transport system to get me around! Just felt like sharing :) Will post pictures on Mo...

Servicing Schedule AUSTRALIA

Hi guys!

Wondering if anyone in Australia can let me know what the servicing schedule is like for the pcx150 2015 model. Is the first service cheap? General advice appreciated. thanks!

Re: HondaPCX150 2015 Model at higher speeds?

Valient, thank you so much for that information! Very helpful. I think the dealer was either pulling my leg or just didn't really know the model he was talking about (this was an over the phone conversation rather than in person so..). The speed thing isn't much of an issue. I would like to take it ...

Re: HondaPCX150 2015 Model at higher speeds?

90 kph is fine, you'll probably hit the rev limiter at about 102 kph. Not sure what you mean by this, as far as I know the Australian model doesn't have a limiter? (Not familiar with that sort of thing so correct me if I interpreted it the wrong way). Was told by the dealer it will go up to about 1...

HondaPCX150 2015 Model at higher speeds?

Hi Guys! Just wondering how well the 2015 model pcx150 does at high speeds (Approx 90kph+)? Does it stay fairly solid or does it blow around a little? I'm new to all this and don't plan on going that fast for a while, but it will happen at some point and I want to make sure the pcx150 is the right o...

Re: Help with storage?

It still sounds strange for you to be required to carry that instead of a backpack. It's a pain in the bum, but it's required for a good reason! I'm an architecture student and I have to carry around A3 sketches/plans along with A3 pads etc. This size won't' fit in a normal backpack and as a lot of...

Re: Help with storage?

Thanks for all the help and ideas everyone! And thanks speedandstyle for the picture! Not sure I'd be able to strap it up like that, but always worth a try I suppose. Again thanks! Ill post back here once I have the scoot and have tried carrying this monster folder around.

Re: Help with storage?

I have carried a photography tripod rifle style with success. The problem with carrying things this way is safety. A small pack isn't an aerodynamic problem but a big pack is. A soft pack isn't a problem either but anything hard is! The few times I have ridden with my tripod I am extra careful and ...

Re: Who uses GPS/Earphones?

Pulling over would be ideal, but for what I have in it mind won't work as well. Basically when I go to pick up my PCX Ill have to ride it back from the dealership. I only have about 4 hours experience on a scooter so rather than braving the 90kph roads for 20 or so kms I decided Id plan a custom rou...

Re: Help with storage?

It's A3 size, so yes very awkward! It would be a couple times a week that I'd need to be taking it along with me, I'd wondered about a backpack big enough to hold it, but would that then just put up too much resistance? It would only be for a very short trip fortunately. 80kph max for a 5 minute dri...

Help with storage?

Hi Guys! Okay.. here's the dilemma. I am a university student, and as part of my degree I have to carry around a huge portfolio. It looks something like this > http://tesco.scene7.com/is/image/tesco/306-8232_PI_1000017MN?wid=493&ht=538 < and it has a shoulder strap. What I'm wondering, is how co...

Re: Who uses GPS/Earphones?

The Bluetooth should tie into your phone's audio, so any sound it makes(including music) should be transmitted. The flimsy cable earbuds probably wouldn't be dangerous, but I could see a lot of potential for them to distract you should they get yanked out at any point. As far as tips, I would recom...

Re: Who uses GPS/Earphones?

Would Bluetooth be compatible with the GPS apps? I sort of thought it was just for calls! Correct me if I'm wrong, I really don't know much about it. Also, would standard earbuds really get in the way in an accident? I'm just talking about the little flimsy things that come with mobile phones. I wou...

Who uses GPS/Earphones?

Complete newbie to scooters here! Just passed my Pre learners over here in Australia and hopefully picking up a new PCX150 in a few weeks time (very excited!). Now, being a 20 year old female in a new city... I really need to figure myself out GPS-wise or I will be hopelessly lost trying to get to m...

How many KW/Tonne is the 2015 PCX150?

What the title says ^
I'm looking at purchasing one in Australia (where I live) but as a learner it has to meet certain requirements and I can't seem to find this exact info anywhere.... Figured I would ask a group most likely to know!

Thanks for any help!
