Re: My build/mods thread: '15 PCX

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20151228/a339f5e6b44cf8b12af08310080dec46.jpg This is what I want to install. 3W led lights. I could do like you and run them as drl. That would be easy. The problem is here in Vietnam only the police or government bikes run with lights on during the day. Not wantin...

I was thinking of splicing into the headlight signal. Elsewhere in this forum I saw a wiring diagram showing the lighting circuits.

Re: My build/mods thread: '15 PCX

In lieu of running them as drl. Can I wire them up to my lights so that they only come on with my regular lights?
I ask as I'm in Vietnam my neighborhood mechanic said I couldn't do this with a 2015pcx.

Wanted to add some extra led lights to my 2015 pcx. Is this possible? I wanted to run them parallel to my headlights. They are 3w.

Re: Scooter riding in Vietnam Video

Welcome to my world! At 3.45 you'll see a driver hop on the sidewalk to pass traffic again at 4.45 you'll see several people use the sidewalk as a lane of traffic. At 5.30 and 6 minute mark you'll see several people driving in the opposite direction along the right shoulder. So a 2 lane road (in eac...

Re: Custom painting of windscreen

Cool. The guy with the US flag is also a veteran. He's retired, living in Vietnam. The locals don't seem bothered by his helmet or his Harley. Unfortunately, performance upgrades are not useful here, imo. Traffic is so bad that I can't get any sustainable time above 30 mph. Isn't a PCX kind of mass...

Re: Custom painting of windscreen

"Found another American living here who had the US flag painted on his helmet." I'm a vet and as patriotic as the next guy, but in this day-and-age doing that seems to be looking for trouble in a foreign land, even in a relatively safe place. Cool on doing things to look different, but I'...

Re: Police catch Motorcyclist weaving on motorway at 150mph!

Awesome stuff. Here in Vietnam doing 50mph is life threatening . I miss USA speeds. I have seen videos of traffic in Vietnam, just being in it is dangerous! :o Most of Asia seems to be similar. Russia seems even worse though! There are two speeds, stop and go as fast as you can. Few drivers there k...

Custom painting of windscreen

As scooters are ubiquitous here in Vietnam. I figure I gotta do something to make mine unique. So next week in gonna drop off my windscreen for some painting. I'm gonna get Darth Vader painted (see pic) on my windscreen. I'm hoping it'll look cool with my matte black PCX. Found another American livi...

The rules are there ain't no rules. Been here almost a year and I still don't like it, but sorta gotten use to it. Might be a case of 'Stockholm Syndrome. '
