I run with them on here. Some mid-2000s Chrysler and Kias here use DRLs that are high beams at full intensity and I find my Vino 125's high beams less blinding even at night.
All vehicles in Canada are legally required to be sold with DRLs.

Re: Scooter fatality
That's sad. I do agree that as riders, we are responsible for our safety. However, given that we are at a stop sign and waiting to make a turn, and someone comes up behind us with no intention of stopping, what do we do? I was rear ended about a month ago where a car rolled into my scooter while I w...

Re: Forza ABS - Question on highway riding
Lol. I think you'll spend the first little while hyper-aware that there's little to no room for error. Ride at the speed you feel comfortable at, you may hang out in the right lane for a bit. Slowly your mind will adapt to it and as soon as you know it, you'll be tucking trying to hit 85 mph. Lol. I...

Re: Forza ABS - Question on highway riding
I was quite nervous for the first 2 minutes on the freeway and was still a little nervous for a couple of weeks after that. You'll get used to it.

Yep. I'd hate to hear someone had a vehicle repossessed because the loan tied to the vehicle was not paid off and went into default.

I would expect the seller to fully pay off the loan before I buy it.

Petrol? Are you sure you're in Long Island? Please update your location. I know, right  Gas baby, gas! GAS! The Brits must think we fart into our fuel tanks. I'm definitely happy with this warmer weather. I only rode 540 km this January and February, compared to 3255 km in the same time ...

Re: windshield
I recently got a windscreen on my Vino 125 and I'm tall enough that the wind is directed right at the top half of my helmet. It's quite a bit noisier than without the windscreen, although when I tuck my helmet lower it's as quiet as riding in a car. I'm looking at deflectors to get that little bit o...

I want a new model with FM radio. Sometimes my phone screws up and I'd like to be able to quickly switch to radio. I enjoy listening to morning shows too.

Wait, in 30,000km you've never replaced the drive belt and rollers? 1. Congrats on the long lasting belt, 2. Get it replaced!

Re: Bye bye
What's next? I think concerns 2 and 3 are valid. At 120km/h though, smaller engines lose their advantage or even gain a disadvantage compared to higher cc bikes. You don't have to leave, I never ended up buying a PCX but stayed anyway. :D Or maybe I've overstayed my welcome but I'm too clueless to f...

Re: Looking to pick up a 2016 Forza ABS - Question on price
I know of some Honda dealers in Canada that definitely offer wiggle room. But there will be a bit less wiggle room with bikes to be ordered in.
I still find it odd that there's a non-ABS Forza option. In Canada, the Forza, CB 300F, and CB 500F are ABS only. CBR 300R and CBR 500R have optional ABS.

Re: Almost Dumped my PCX150
Sorry to hear Mel46. I agree, dress for the crash not for the ride. I used to have the same attitude about scooters and I credit hondapcx.org for hammering the ATGATT idea into me whether it's on a scooter or a motorcycle.
Glad you're not hurt, Alock.

Back in high school when I was thinking of a 49cc, I almost crashed one from the dealer like that. Lol.

Re: Poll the Grom...
The Grom is in the scooter section of ADVRider. They're low cc siblings in different form factors. Where do you draw the line? Is the Integra still a scooter? Or is it more closely related to the NC700X with DCT? All these bike manufacturers have been trying to blur lines to cater to the rapidly evo...
