Re: 2015 USA Rev Limiter/governor 64-65 mph?
Although the 2015 might have a lower top speed than the 2013, how does the cruising speed compare? Say, take an 8% grade where neither a stock 2013 or stock 2015 will have enough steam to reach that rev limiter, which one will be faster?

Re: Bonus Time Coming For A Few Accessories???
Can't go wrong with a Shad. Even go with the Shad SH40 with Cargo, which adds a rack where you can bungee even more stuff on top like a tent. And Sena is great. They regularly update the firmware and the SMH5 and 10 got as many new features as they could add since it was first released within limits...

Re: How much should I pay for a 2015 PCX 150?
Visited a couple more Honda dealers and the best quote I got was 4,250 OTD. But I found a 2015 SYM HD200 EVO for 3,700 OTD. This is the exact model http://www.alliancepowersports.com/mobile/hd.html . there's nothing but good review about it! what do u think?? Not a bad little bike. It should handle...

Re: Ran out of gas (petrol).
I did that once, except I was a mile away from the closest gas station. What's worse, I thought a gas station a 1-3/4 mile away was the closest. It was a nice 30 minute walk of shame.

The front brake is on the right side of motorcycles and scooters. The left lever is the clutch on motorcycles or rear brake on scooters.
I've come to the conclusion that this is quite subjective and riders should get acquainted with their bikes to see what works best.

Re: Parking brake
A compact car with a 2 litre engine consumes about a litre of fuel per hour idling in traffic when it is at operating temperature. A 150 cc engine will consume a fraction of that. I was stuck in gridlock traffic last night on my 50cc for 40 minutes and lane splitting is illegal here, yet when I fill...

50cc Ruckus...383 miles http://www.autos.ca/forum/Smileys/CarTalk/bow.gif The most I've done on a 50cc was 140 miles, and that was long enough for me @ 35 mph. I could probably stretch out to 6 to 8 hours @ 55 mph in a PCX. Only around town. Highest single-day total was only about 25 mi. Imagine do...

Lol. Does the US model have the fuel consumption meter? http://s1.ibtimes.com/sites/www.ibtimes.com/files/styles/v2_article_large/public/2013/03/01/metric-system.jpg?itok=WsCjEwfl Though most of the world has adopted the metric system, it seems like the British are still very much a miles and (imper...

Re: Careful in the wet
It is important for riders and drivers to get to an open parking lot in expected riding conditions and find out how much traction your tires and brakes have, and then stay within those limits. For example, every year in the first snow storm I will always head out in my car to do all types of maneuve...

Fuel consumption meter in 2015s
Honda Canada lists fuel consumption meters as one of the options in the multi information display, not sure about other markets. How accurate is this? Does it display in L/100km?

Ok maybe what I said is only applicable in my BWS but it doesn't lock up even on wet roads no matter how hard I brake. Maybe the brakes suck.Valiant wrote:Whut?dkazzed wrote:-It's impossible to lock up the front wheel.

Re: 2015 PCX 150 performance vs previous models
My BWS 50cc which tops out at 37 mph on a flat road (GPS confirmed) averages 63 mpg. 83 and even 70 sounds amazing. Wow $3.13 a gallon average in Hawaii right now. We're about $3 US a gallon here, but at 63mpg even $5 a gallon like it was last summer doesn't really matter in a scooter. It did for my...

What SECoda said. 2-3-4 second rule. 2 seconds dry city streets, 3 seconds dry highways, 4 seconds in intermittent weather. People might try to budge into your 4 second space on the road, just reduce your speed and form another 4 seconds. It's not worth your life to get aggressive.

Thanks dkazzed for all the info! It's true $100 is not worth for all the trouble. Canada PCX got some nice colors too. No problem. I just noticed your info, did you just buy one? We just have candy red and bright metallic bronze. I still don't know why they can't offer all four colours on both side...

You may, but I believe Washington State residents may apply for a GST rebate so you get about 5% back. Do you research on rules of importing motor vehicles to the US. I know to import a vehicle from the US to Canada, it has to be an approved vehicle in the Registry for Importable Vehicles, and must ...

Re: Have you had the clutch bearing failure yet?
Are an equal percentage of stock and modded PCX's experiencing this? . Actually, very few PCX's are experiencing this first of all. And, this has no similarity whatsoever to a bearing in a car transmission. It is a little similar as in it's a bearing that's a component of some sort in the transmiss...

I did not know there was a top attachment available for cargo/tent. So what I saw at the show was a specific SH40-CARGO (as opposed to the plain SH40) that comes with an integrated top mount: http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/shad-sh40-cargo-top-case.html http://www.shad.es/en/shad-usa/products/cases...
