Re: Fly brand jackets?

Ok I have had a day or two to ride with the new jacket. So far I like it! It vents air like you wouldn't believe, it is going to be great in June, July and August. Early in the morning and at night and I got cold, that is how much air flows through this jacket. I did find a few very minor issues but...

Re: Fly brand jackets?

When I got home tonight I found my jacket had come. I have not taken it riding yet so I will just give my initial observations. It is nicely built with good materials. It fits me well after I adjusted the side straps and changed the back armor. In fact my only complaint is the original back armor fo...

Re: Fly brand jackets?

...When its hot i can only wear the vest over a tshirt. ... I always wear a jacket - I have seen and heard too many horror stories to not be fully covered. The son of a friend of mine once slid his bike under a barbed wire fence. When he hit the fence it snagged his arm and pealed the skin from his...

Re: Fly brand jackets?

I ordered it but it has yet to arrive. The tracking says Tuesday. USPS takes forever! I will post my impressions when it gets here, after a ride to test it out of coarse.

Re: Redlights and small scooters

Magnets will never work on the optical sensors. Several lights here have those. Sometimes flashing your high beams or turning slightly will affect them. Personally my opinion is they should not be allowed unless they can detect all legal motorized vehicles!

Re: Forza 300 Valve Keeper Let Loose

Bummer! Things happen, even to well built products. It could be a flaw in a part or an assembly mistake. Hopefully yours is the one in a million and not a new issue that others will encounter too. I also hope Honda will repair it for you even though the warranty is over.

Re: Lane Splitter doesn't pay enough attention!

New video - Question is - why! Traffic is light and moving very well - why does he need to lane split? I will assume that the cars are going the speed limit thus the bike is speeding, although he wasn't going much faster. He does lane split in a fairly safe manner although he seems a little close to...

Re: Lane Splitter doesn't pay enough attention!

Whilst being overtaken not lane splitting. ? what ? are you talking about the motorcycle rider in the second video? Yes and no. If he hadn't lane split and got himself into a precarious position then it is very likely he would not have been hit. I am not saying the driver isn't mostly to blame but ...

Re: Lane Splitter doesn't pay enough attention!

So are you for or against lane splitting? It's hard to tell As I stated in my original post I am for it in a limited way. For instance I am not for the crap in the first video! Traffic was moving OK and the rider was going way too fast. I also think it has less of a place here in the USA then in Eu...

Re: Lane Splitter doesn't pay enough attention!

A) Looked like an old woman with dark dark sunglasses. B) The bike was well ahead of the car, no way anyone doesn't see that. C) The rider was positioned in the left track, legally within the lane. D) Lane splitting is legal in some places. A car and a motorcycle in the same lane(both vehicles insi...

Re: Lane Splitter doesn't pay enough attention!

I used to be totally against lane splitting but I think it can be done safely. It does have some advantage at lessening traffic jams. Problem is that much of the lane splitting wouldn't be done safely. Getting to the front of the line at a stop is one thing, racing through traffic is another thing a...

Re: Better mirrors from Honda

The Forza is "sport" style for Japan, the short WS and naked handlebars give this fact away{plus they call it Forza Si over there}. Sports often have shorter and/or smaller mirrors. They look good but mirrors are for safety not style! My Burgman 400 is a Type S and has a similar sport styl...

Welcome! I am envious! I want a Forza so bad but the dealer will only order one if I pay full MSRP{plus extras}. Hoping one shows up at a dealer not too far away or maybe on craigslist.

Re: Police catch Motorcyclist weaving on motorway at 150mph!

Awesome stuff. Here in Vietnam doing 50mph is life threatening . I miss USA speeds. I have seen videos of traffic in Vietnam, just being in it is dangerous! :o Most of Asia seems to be similar. Russia seems even worse though! There are two speeds, stop and go as fast as you can. Few drivers there k...

I wish they had a selection of colors for the Forza! I like red but that candy orange would be awesome.
