Re: Handlebar bags

Thanks Johnny, great idea.

I found it at walmart and next to it for the same price was a huffy bag that was bigger, insulated and had a clear section for a map or phone.

Re: increased gas range, mileage to outrun the coming apocal

I have a rotopax for my adventure bike, the containers are good but the screw on filler is crap, all of mine have broken. Sooner or later there will be a global economic collapse, all joking aside. It was partly the reason I got the pcx. 110Mpg helps save in fuel costs which helps me more financiall...

Re: Rear Brake Drum Squeal/Creak

It was the spring that connects to the rear brake actuator. Sprayed with wd40 and is now fixed.

Rear Brake Drum Squeal/Creak

Yesterday I noticed when I press my left lever I can hear a squeal/creek sound coming from the rear brake drum area. Any ideas what is wrong. This happens regardless of being stationary or moving. Engine on or off. The brake still works fine and the scooter rides ok.

Re: Where did my oil go?

Yes it is on flat concrete, on the centerstand, put the dipstick in cold and did not screw it back in, the lower side now shows in the middle of the crosshatch, when i said it was above the cross hatch, that was because I thought I was supposed to screw it all the way in.

Where did my oil go?

At 600 miles I replaced the oil. I am now at 2000 miles. After riding say 30 min and I turn off the scooter I can smell something odd lingering near the right side passenger footpeg. So I put the scooter on the center stand checked the oil and no reading was showing on the dipstick. There is no oil ...

Re: Pikes Peak or Bust

Altitude and cvt is why it may not make it. I live at 6300ft. Combustion engines run about 20% less power than at sea level. I'm from Manchester, UK originally and there is no road in the UK that comes anywhere this high. Pikes peak is no joke, it goes up forever, the more you go, the more energy it...

Pikes Peak or Bust

I'm thinking about going all out and attempting to ride to the top of Pikes Peak on my PCX 150? Do you reckon it will make it?
