Re: Am I The only one...

I have that conversation nearly every day. My wife is convinced that if she thinks something then I automatically know what she is thinking. Most times I have no idea what it is, but it makes for interesting conversation, particularly if I pretend it's something wildly different to what she most lik...

Re: Merry Christmas every

I think the Spirit of Christmas just rolled over and died on this particular page.

It appears to be all about religion, nothing about goodwill to all men. Shame about
that!

Re: Tire Inflator Blew My 5A Fuse

Keep The whole thing outside the bikes circuits, just get a cordless rechargeable… I have filled both my tires and still have power left, and I’ve done my car tires once and still had power left… It also automatically shuts off at the desired air pressure so there’s no filling, then checking , then...

Re: BLING For Tires....What?

Tyre shine is the best looking finish, as long as you don't ever ride the bike afterwards. I know this for a fact. :D :D

Just before you slide off you have a FIGJAM moment. :D :D

Nay nay, I say nay, sithee. Proofreading one's own typing is the hardest thing. (PS: Bristol originally, I'm afraid  ) I found that out many years ago doing a presentation in front of a group of senior food executives. We were releasing a new range of donuts called "Sweet Hearted Donuts&q...

[quote="Slowinitdown"Mate this cracked me up! Must be a happy place to ride in all the QLD sunshine... Slightly jealous![/quote] I don't even think about riding in the rain, there are so many fine sunny days. If it rains we usually only have to wait a day or two and the fine weather return...

Re: Beat 2 crotch rockets tonight up to ...

Is this serous or spoof? My totally stock 1970 Triumph 650 can't hold a candle to a modern sport bike but will hit 55 so much faster than my PCX - seriously, its a silly comparison. Hey I'm not trying to be confrontational, and I love the PCX but 13hp has its limits regardless of the type of transm...

Re: Beat 2 crotch rockets tonight up to ...

When I went for my licence test the instructor warned the guys on motorbikes not to try to match the Honda 110cc Deo's acceleration up to 40 kph. On a short course the scoot will win every time. It's not hard to be first off from the traffic lights. I consider the race is over once I'm across the in...

Re: Idle Stop

I drive mostly in light traffic, the idle stop works fine when I remember to use it. Not a big deal either way for me, but I think it could be annoying in certain traffic situations.

Our local Honda car dealer always washes and vacuums our Jazz after servicing it. No extra charge. Also run a free shuttle bus to and from our local mall.

My former VW dealer never cleaned our Golf, but their service charges were more than double the Honda. :x :x

Re: Finally pulled the plug!

My Honda mower (lightweight model) is over 16 years old and has had the oil changed about three times in it's life. No blue smoke, still starts second pull and never lets me (or my wife) down. :) :) Actually my wife has graduated to a Ryobi 36v battery mower, it's amazingly good on flat ground, but...

No lock needed here in Queensland. The number of stolen scooters would be almost none.

It's a status thing, no self respecting thief would be caught dead on a scooter.
