Bought my red PCX 2015MY yesterday... am on hols on saturday so have to wait until I get back to collect it.. I think I saw your video earlier on before even joining this forum. I often view that cageronwheels video as he is brilliant, and helped me be persuaded to buy the scooter. cagerontwowheels...

thankyou for your input, yes my bike now has around 350 miles so its unlikely to be a bearing i would think, the dealer said keep an eye on it until the 600 mile service, but he said all pcx's sound exactly like mine!

been and now I'm back, i have been told what i am hearing is the belt going around the pulley, i was told its normal, and will sound slightly louder now as everything is broken in a lot more than when new, and not to worry, he said out off the 100's of pcx's they have sold that have had to change on...

clutch sound... help?
seems my scooter has developed a 'weird' sound from the clutch, sort of sounds like a 'dry bearing' sound, more noticeable when warm, dose anyone else have this?

Reach around the lower left behind the rear wheel. You will find your rear brake cable. Check to see what your free play is in the left brake handle and adjust accordingly. Maybe the cable is too tight? Maybe someone thought it would be a practical joke to tighten the nut a few turns not realizing ...

to me, it sounds like a clutch problem, one of which could be: #1 clutch pads have come loose off the actual clutch, or #2 the clutch springs have become slack / broken and the clutch is not retracting when at a low idle.. either way it sounds clutch related, i would advise (if you don't have a warr...

Yes that is normal, obviously all bearing have a small amount of resistance which causes the wheel to spin like that.

no brake was used, and the rear wheel wasn't touching the ground. at idle the clutch isn't engaged at all, therefor the wheels won't always spin, when you see the wheel spinning on the stand thats caused the resistant in the clutch bell bearing.. hence why when its spinning when you touch it it stop...
