Re: Graze repair
Ok I've bought the three required touch- up bottles (base layer, Pearl Cool white paint, and lacquer), and they will probably arrive on monday. He said that with three- stage paints, its quite tricky to do it yourself. I do want it to look as good as it can, so I might take it to a body shop and see...

Ha wow, that's the colour I need! But I also need the specific basepaint and the lacquer. It's a 2 stage paint.

Re: Graze repair
Pearl Himalaya white is pre- 2012, after that it's "pearl cool" and then I think 2015 is a different colour too, "pearlescent". If you look on the drop down boxes on that site for the different years you'll see that pearl Himalaya is different to pearl cool

Re: Graze repair
I'm in London, UK.
http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-us/colour ... dyear=2013
On that website, under 2013 PCX, they have "pearl cool white" listed as a colour. But I'm guessing that is different to the 2015 white.

Graze repair
Sorry if this has been posted before- I'm after a bit of advice. Today I noticed there is a small, but deep, graze on the front of my 2015 white PCX: http://i58.tinypic.com/30urgcg.jpg Someone must have scraped past me while parked. What I need is a touch- up pot, just like you buy for cars. Now I s...

Between the rains
I had a pretty rough commute into town this morning as well (up the A40 from Hanger Lane into Kings Cross). But the waterproof trousers and jacket served me well.

Idling Stop
There are some lights near me that take a while to turn green I guess. But in terms of sitting in traffic, why do you think I bought a scooter?

Does anyone turn it off? If so, why?

Re: Where did these cracks come from?
I really appreciate all the input and discussion here! The photos and "case file" have gone off to Honda UK, so We will wait to see what their decision is. If they will replace it under warranty then all's good and it'll be done at the first service. It should be around 10 days until I get...

Re: Where did these cracks come from?
Thanks for all the input guys. SECoda, I did think it may have happened during uncrating. In which case obviously it's their fault but apparently I "should have noticed it when they walked me round the bike" o.O I will have to wait and see what they say, but I'll update this thread as soon...

Where did these cracks come from?
Oh, anyone know how these panels are fitted? Are they screwed on?
P.S in case anyone is wondering! I weigh about 72 KG.

Re: Where did these cracks come from?
Thanks for the reply. I agree that they look like stress cracks. I am not just trying to save myself £100, it's not about the money. If I thought there was any way I could have done this myself I would just pay up! But I don't see any way it could have happened, and like I said, there is no sign of ...

Where did these cracks come from?
Hi guys, got a mystery for you to have a crack at solving. I bought my brand new 2015 white PCX 125 2 weeks ago today. Did I mention i love these bikes? Two days ago I was cleaning it thoroughly for the first time since buying it. In cleaning the right side panel, just next to the seat, I noticed tw...

Re: Best waterproof cover for PCX 125?
Hmm... obviously waterproof trousers would stop my bum from getting wet. However, the bike would still be completely exposed to the rain. Now I know the bodywork/ fairings etc can cope with this, but the fabric seat looks like the rain will really take its toll on it after a while. I intend to keep ...

Re: Best waterproof cover for PCX 125?
This is a very good point. The waterproof trousers probably might be a better idea. Would you want to put a wet cover under the seat with your bag?
