Re: 1st Month
Eddie thanks for sharing that information. I just needed to know what to expect. I have a feeling that it is picking up a bit the more I open it up. I spent the 1st 300 miles keeping it under 45. There has been only a few times I've tried to push it faster. I was wondering about weight to speed rela...

Re: 1st Month
Thanks to you who have replied. I have a friend who is four years older than myself which makes him 70 who has over 70,000 on his current motorcycle and he has an older brother living in California that has over 100,000 miles on his current motorcycle. Age has little to do with desire to ride. It ma...

1st Month
Well I have a PCX 2013 model. I've owned it for a month now. It has 500 miles on it and I've enjoyed the ride. I ride in the suburbs and surrounding rural area. some time on both gravel and pavement. I enjoy going down a dirt road and seeing the farms and wild life and also the slower paved roads. I...

Re: Body Panel removal for Valve Check
Thanks for the reply Mel and yes I was talking about my 2013 model PCX. I had the feeling that was the problem but I was wondering if it was a difference between a 2011 and 2013 model since I have never seen a 2011. I need all the room I can get since I hate to work off the floor or on my knees, so ...

Body Panel removal for Valve Check
I have seen the videos and read about experiences with checking the valve clearance. I have a 2013 model and a service manual for this model. My question is if it is necessary to remove the various body parts that have been talked about and posted on this forum, when the service manual I have only c...

Re: coolant cover clip
Well around here plastic nylon retainers like these are impossoble to find but American style nylon retainers are easier to locate. Since we find it too hard to go metric like the rest of the world 6.4mm or 1/4" retainers is what you will need. I found them at the hardware store. Ordering in qu...

Re: coolant cover clip
Yes they are. I found them on Amazon and thought I'd order some. Thanks for your reply though. I don't know why the one I tried to remove was so brittle though but as you say they are cheap.

coolant cover clip
This is just a simple question. I checked my coolant level but was unable to see clearly, so I removed the (clip) and took the cover off. The coolant level was fine. The clip broke and I could put another one in but a screw may be better because I'd like to be able to remove the cover without replac...

Re: New Member Experience
The only thing I would change is the hump in the seat, mostly because I don't understand the purpose. I'm not having much trouble with it, but it is one thing I could do without since I ride one up only. I cann't comment much on speed since I'm taking my time with break in. I'm pretty sure it will d...

Re: New Member Experience
Hi everyone I'm located west of Flint in Swartz Creek. I bought a 2013 model a week ago and asked for a quote from Honda and received $300 off from the manufacturer because the 2015 model will be out this month I believe. So anyone interested in a 2013 model try getting a quote from Honda and see if...

Hi, I've recently purchased a 2013 RED PCX 150 and I'm enjoying it almost everyday. I'm 66 years old from Michigan and I'm arthritic and was having a time even getting my leg over my motorcycle and thought maybe the end of ridding had arrived, when I began to get interested in scooters. I'm trying t...
