Re: Oil Dipstick marking

Just ran it for a bit, then left it for 2 minutes, took it out, wiped, back in, out... and still seems too much (photo) but again, i'm pretty sure this hasn't been touched since purchasing the Bike, as a first service wouldn't need a oil change etc... it's done just over 4000 miles now, 1500 of them...

Re: Oil Dipstick marking

I screwed it in, I haven't touched the Oil at all since getting the Bike, and I doubt they would of done anything with it on the first Service? so i'm guessing it's the same oil etc from when the Bike was bought new (June 2013) Will do it now without screwing...... here are 2 photos I took, took it ...

Oil Dipstick marking

Hey, I think it must be me but where is the part on the Dipstick which it shouldn't go over? I've never taken it out and not sure what was done on the last/first Service etc, but lately the Bikes sounded like it's struggling to run as the speed increases, got a new Air Filter in, and a new Spark Plu...

Re: Exhaust Cover

That's kool,
I didn't really want to spend too much on just the middle bit,
especially when PowerByPCX does full ones for not much more or similar price...

You'll have to take some photos when it's on and let us see :-)

Re: Honda PCX 125 Service Time

Yep something isn't right, there's a slight tapping sound, sounds like its coming from the front :-/ when i've got the throttle back it's fine, but then when released there's a fast tapping sound, i'll try and record it in the next couple of days........ Hopefully the new Spark Plug will be here tom...

Re: Exhaust Cover

It's hard plastic... apparently the proper ones had sharp edges, read on another Forum about them as well, i'll get it and see how I get on anyway, if it discolours quickly then i'll get at them about it as they don't mention it anywhere, be a few weeks yet until I get it so will have to make do wit...

Re: Exhaust Cover

Thanks JoshM i've seen all them though, was hoping there would be something a little cheaper, I love PowerByPCX but if I was going to get anything from there i'd get a bunch of things to make up the Postage, but at the moment I dont have the money for a bunch of things yet, also I seen United Kingdo...

Exhaust Cover

Anyone know where I can get a decent one from? accidentally cracked the middle of mine, luckily it was the bit that can be removed/changed, but i'd rather get the chrome/silver one with PCX on, or a red one etc... not the standard black, but they seem to be expensive, anyone know any cheap places? o...

Re: Honda PCX 125 Service Time

Just passed 4k miles, for some reason though it doesnt seem to be riding as 'smooth' as before, Engine seems to struggle abit, might just be me though... but thought getting the Oils changed might 'help' ? I still haven't had a Service done myself, so only the first one has been done which was aroun...

Re: CBT

Re: CBT

Thanks, and I cant get my head around Gears, even though i'll only ever have an automatic, dont see why they cant do a full test just for automatics, plus I dont have that money yet for the tests, or time to learn Gears etc.... considering the Bike is for pleasure for the Summer, i've stuck with the...
