Re: the motorcyclist Wave

There was heaps of racist stuff on here before there were any donations. That is if you find the term "colonial" racist and offensive. Some did, most didn't. Regarding the term "rice rocket" this is a description of a vehicle and has absolutely fuck all to do with racism. Some p...

Re: the motorcyclist Wave

I wave to everyone -- sport bike riders, harley riders, kids on school buses, old people... Anyone who looks at me gets a smile and a wave. It's amazing how many people smile and wave back. I do get a few people ignoring me, surprisingly the group that ignores me the most or rolls their eyes are th...

Re: the motorcyclist Wave

Everytime we ride we get and give the wave. Our scooters have the tall windscields so they look larger than they are, and since we ride as a couple our imprint is larger. People are really surprised when we tell them these are scooters. As with most of you, our returned waves are either from older ...

Re: the motorcyclist Wave

Nobody ever accuses Harley of being inexpensive. After buying an extended warranty and some other options, my Road King Classic cost more than my car. Added to that, my wife decided on the spot that she also wanted a Harley so we got her a Sportster at the same time. It was an expensive day. If I w...

Re: Is this a good price for a new 2013 pcx?

When I bought my Burgman from an individual my insurance company told me that I had 5 days to get it on the policy, in case the company was closed when an individual tried to call. However, that was when I was adding another scooter. For a first buy you should line up your insurance in advance so y...

Does anyone know what that be around or how to look it up for the state of Maryland? Try Honda of Gambrills or Honda of Rockville, both in Maryland. I got ...

Re: Farewell PCX

Saying farewell to the red PCX. It was a fun ride and miserly on gas but it's shortcomings resulted in it losing it's place in the garage. I used it mainly for commuting to work (16 mile round trip) and short jaunts around town for a little over a year but I missed touring on two wheels. While it's...

Re: Free to a Good home...one rear tire

I purchased my PCX 150 in April after trading in my beautiful Burgman 400, which had a brand new City Grip on it. When I put the new tire on it I also put a new City Grip on my wife's PCX. I rode my new PCX for exactly 1300 miles before I pulled the original IRC rear tire and put a new City Grip on...

Re: My Husband and I both got the PCX 150

I've only had my PCX for about a month or so. Have not seen another on the road. I bought it mainly to keep the miles off of my Toyota Tundra. My Tundra gets 15 mpg back and forth to work, my PCX gets 95. Its a no brainer. I did the math, with what I paid for the PCX, it will have paid for itself af...

I paid $2963.71 brand new out the door from Crofton Honda in Maryland, Virginia tax, tags, and title included. I paid for it and picked it up yesterday. You can do better. JMO
