Re: Variator for 125
I agree with the extra noise but for that purpose would be better an exhaust.

Re: Variator for 125
This snorkel mod really help something? I can't see any diference... In my honest opinion it's better have it so the air get in the air box directly and with some pressure. I have an aftermarket filter and exhaust and the snorkel is directed to the conic filter. Other PCX users told the same: with a...

Re: Yuminashi Pcx 164cc
Injector,31mm throttle body, kn filter and exhaust should increase performance on stock 125 engine?
Or it cant handle this?
I'm not too interested for now to go for the big bore. Or it is better change tha valves only to get some power for now?

Re: Yuminashi Pcx 164cc
Just awsome!!! Could you tell me if the scooter with a big bore kit will over heat? Some one told me that there is 4 guys in Portugal with big bore on their PCX 125 and all of them had to stop the scooter cause the engine temp light switched on! I'm afraid of that if I go on with this big bore. That...

Re: Takegawa Pcx 170cc
Ok, I bought something that makes more sense to me. For what I need that is keeping the rpm's close to 8.000 rpm or to help uphill I've ordered a Polini Torque Spring. I think it will help.
What do you guys think?
Best regards

Re: Takegawa Pcx 170cc
Mine it's the second one so it's correct.
I just want a litle top speed or more power on flats. A litle more speed is welcome but if I can top out at 130 km/h but can maintain 120+ on flats better.
I have to tweak the scooter...

Re: Takegawa Pcx 170cc
Thanks guys again. In the dealer they installed JCosta with 11gr or 10gr I think. A member from our forum told me that it was wrong and sold me the correct ones about 8.5gr. It really helped from 0-80km/h but after that it slows a lot... If I could get 120+ on flats easy... But no. My wind screen it...

Re: Takegawa Pcx 170cc
Is it a Mk1 or a Mk2 125? I am assuming Mk2? Did you buy and install the J Costa yourself? Or maybe you bought it and had the dealer install it. What weights are you using? The ones that came with it? How many Kms since you installed it? The 80 kms thing you can fix. Your friend is not telling you ...

Re: How fast would you want to go on your PCX 125/150?
I want to reach 87! I can do 80 mph downhill but struggles to reach 74/75 on flats! If I managed to reach 74/75 (120 kph) on flats and easily 130 kph on slight downhills it's perfect. I need to buy probably another vario since mine it's a lot faster from 0-80 kph but rpm's drop a lot and from here i...

Re: Takegawa Pcx 170cc
Hi there. I'm from Portugal and I have a 125 PCX. In this moment it can reach 132 downhill. I have JCosta vario, an universal (conic?) filter, JCosta exhaust with no db killer, Iridium spark plug and bigger wind screen. One of my problems is on slight uphills it struggles to pass 80 or take too much...
