Re: Resetting the ECU
In theory when you reset the ECU and let it idle for 10 minutes it lets to computer relearn anything that may have changed. I’d use this procedure for installing exhaust, air pod filter, or anything that could change the way the bike runs. This is how I did it back when I had my zuma, and actually a...

What? Simple ecu reset, unplug battery for 30 seconds or more... that's all.iceman wrote:Is this using the 'resistor / break into a plug' trick? Can you provide details?

Resetting the ECU
When resetting the ECU, should you allow the bike to idle for 10 mins? Or do you guys usually hop on and go for a ride? What's the best method?

Re: Engine making ticking noise after Valve adjustment
Hi Guys, I'm new here and would like to get into the community more. I'm only just getting back onto my pcx now, I brought it at the start of 2011 but about a year ago burnt the piston (Long Story), the engine was bored and rebuilt but it had trouble at idle and kept stalling. I have just done a va...

Re: Smashed up front end
part that bish out! probably get some good ends on the engine, with harness and fuel pump to the ruckus guys. Also maybe one of the members would be willing to buy the engine for a good price. "Sellers Sell!"

Re: Shut down while riding now won't accelerate.
so once i moved over to the ncy variator and ncy variator face i was able to reach speeds of 75. The warmer and drier the weather the better response i get out of the bike. After a good 25+ mile run started when going up hill it would be at WOT "Wide Open Throttle" and just slow down. I wo...

Re: Takegawa Pcx 170cc
Pcxdemon, Old helmet visor, perfect fit with small modification..im thinking going electric fan behind radiator and pissing off the fan on the crank, that should make considerable diff. Depending on full removal of the fan, there may be an imbalance on that side of the crank. Something to think about...

For combustion, I mean. Kinda already done but i havent been trying to force it too much because i didnt have an afr meter so i couldnt tell if it would be too much for it. Ive got an afr meter now so i may have a play with forced intake sometime in the future.. Pcxdemon, what did you use to create...

Re: loss of power
Are you folks talking about a pcx?? 85 mph? 74-75 mph?? The topend for a stock pcx 150 is 67 mph. How do you get 85 mph on one? Mel46, Yes the PCX 150. I can actually see if someone went big bore they would actually get more power, more speed. I listed all my mods, and I can hit 67 on flats, and ac...

Re: Tire Size?
Hay Kramnala, on your front city grip, did you go up in size or stay with the 90/90 ? Sean ... I put the 120/70 on the front and the 140/70 on the back. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it lifted the rear splash guard slightly but did nothing with the front fender. A few months ago I swapped out ...
