Re: Potential Newbie - with questions!
At 20 stone i have pcx 125 2013, uphill it slows to around 45-50 with stock set up. after installing a performance variator for around £100 it now climbs most hills at 55-60 and has a max down hill speed of 78mph on the speedometer with much improved acceleration. Just FOOD for thought!

Thanks urban, though was looking for dent protection also in the vulnerable areas SECoda I Don't plan on falling either and its not a problem till it happens, its really to ensure a bit of piece of mind and protect my investment, as new to riding two wheels. I have done the obligatory google search...

Re: Question about tyres and drive belt replacement
Hey all So my tyres are nearing the legal limit and I am planning to order a new set this weekend. From the forums its almost a given that the Michelin City Grips are possibly the best option. I do ride all year around in the Great British weather (i.e. rain for 11 months!). Just wondered if there ...

Re: Bigger tire questions answered
Try city grips on your next change, they are around the same cost. I think then you might agree with the many people who have tried them and commented on what a difference they make to the handling/stability.

Re: Bigger tire questions answered
Hi Guys, My first post here, and a fellow 2014 PCX 125cc rider from Portugal :P After coming from the SYM GTS/EVO 2 125cc world, the PCX feels a bit too unstable for me so I was looking to fit wider tires. @kramnala58 and @Mgalutia88, did you have to change anything to fit these wider city grips to...

Re: Bigger tire questions answered
I agree. Get rid of the IRC's and fit standard city grips. Hi Alibally! Also noticed you're from a rain-prone country  What's your experience with the city grips in rain /wet conditions? Did you fit with the stock size? Thanks City grip feel better grip in wet than stock does in dry. Something...

Re: has anyone got NCY CVT sliders?
Why replace those already? Send the wrong ones back and just keep the originals. And install 12 gram DrPulley sliders in place of the rollers. already? well they are sorta sticky the bike has over 18k on it , and why 12mg dr pulley? i went from 15 gram rollers to 17 gram dr pully and gained 3 mph ,...

Hi all. I'm interested to know what sought of mileages have been clocked up on the PCX 125 / 150 an if any problems have been encountered on the way ? 13,000 miles on my 2013 esp 125 only problem ive had is a bearing needing replacing in the rear of the variator housing, this seems to be a common p...

Re: has anyone got NCY CVT sliders?
Looks like they both do the same thing but rollers are round so they roll, sliders are not round so they slide. It's either/or, not both. https://www.google.com/search?q=cvt+sliders&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=MGLvU-HrMdGBogTBh4GIAg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&biw=1007&bih=482 http...

Re: Broke my left leg, gear ideas?
Stay away from the edges of the road, Michelin City Grips in the stock size instead of IRC tires (multiple people on the cbr250r forum have had issues with irc tires as well), keep your speed up and your legs up. We can only do so much on two wheels but every little thing helps. Yep can do nothing ...

Re: valve adjustment
Thanks for the update Mel, according to the mechanic I've spoke to the new bearings he will be fitting are upgraded so this should not happen again. if this problem is happening to a lots of 2012-13 owners that tells me it's possibly a design fault? My warranty has gone now anyway so don't think hon...

Re: valve adjustment
I can't tell you exactly where everything is in the mechanics of the bike, but I can say that we had swapped out every4hing we could between my new pcx and hers and the noise was still there. It got worse as time and miles went by too. We couldn't open the clutch casing to determine what was going ...

Re: Embarrasing: Clock adjustment
Hi heinz57g, Unfortunately I have had no joy in finding the user manual, I can't even find one online which is strange as I used to just Google honda Dylan 125 owners manual and use one of the top results but this no longer works! The only thing I can recommend is maybe calling a few Honda dealers t...

Re: just purchased a YOSHIMURA exhaust system will it fit?
Thanks for your replys. I'm thinking the same as you guys that the uk esp 125/150 has many different parts to its predecessors, o well it was a bargain so will take it to a fabricator see what can be done!
