At 20 stone i have pcx 125 2013, uphill it slows to around 45-50 with stock set up. after installing a performance variator for around £100 it now climbs most hills at 55-60 and has a max down hill speed of 78mph on the speedometer with much improved acceleration. Just FOOD for thought!

Try city grips on your next change, they are around the same cost. I think then you might agree with the many people who have tried them and commented on what a difference they make to the handling/stability.

Why replace those already? Send the wrong ones back and just keep the originals. Stay away from the edges of the road, Michelin City Grips in the stock size instead of IRC tires (multiple people on the cbr250r forum have had issues with irc tires as well), keep your speed up and your legs up.
