Re: Have you had the clutch bearing failure yet?

Wow! Thanks for the link. I think they rebuilt mine because the part was on backorder, if this is the same area. Like I said, I'm not a mechanic, so I can't tell you more than I did. However, keep in mind that the scooter was in the shop for 7 or 8 weeks because of backordered parts. They finally t...

Re: New upgraded clutch

Do you guys know what size the thin clutch nut is? I know it is either 39 or 41mm, but the manual doesn't say which one it is. I'm going to have to buy the socket, just want to make sure I have the correct tool before I attempt the conversion. Have you tried a cheap electric power wrench? Stunning ...

Re: 2013 Performance

Has anyone had any experience with Takegawa variators? Yes i have used one with sliders and rollers, its just a slightly modified stock variator. Not much of an improvement over stock either compared to other aftermarket variators. That's not quite correct. Takegawa is not stock modded but it's a n...

Re: Pick up new 2015 spec PCX125 on Wednesday

Nice purchase at a great price, i bought my pcx just early 2013 from castleford honda for £2100 new! I do like the look of the new 2015 model especially the humpless seat. i wonder if the seats will fit on the previous model? can anyone confirm this?

Re: Winter riding

last winter i rode 60 miles round trip to work each day with no major issues apart from the cold and side winds, it was a very mild winter compared to usual in the UK although very windy at times and the pcx seems to get blown all over in high winds compared my previous scoot. I'm thinking of buying...

I know a windshield certainly helps, it stops your body acting as an airbrake.

iceman wrote:Is that speed test on rollers or something like it? The bike is not moving so how can top speed be judged?
my scoot shows 82mph on the stand, max speed on the road indicates 78mph in the ideal conditions with no headwind although my speedo is around 4mph over the gps speed.

Haven't found a whole lot of info searching the forums, so any input is welcome. Not too interested in variators and gearing unlesss I can figure out how to get a bit more power and torque out of it. Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders

well done... now to find out if the variator in your 2013 PCX125 is the same as the current stock 2015 PCX150[/quote]

Most likely, they are all the same up to the 2013. i have a 2011 malossi multivar in my 2013 pcx 125 esp and it fits and works very well indeed!
