Re: Exhaust pipe options
That last one is prob fairly loud. Silent Sport Oval (middle one) should do. )

Re: Carver Surf Racks installed =)
So, I go t two chairs in one pic, and one chair and the umbrella in the other. I suppose with a little more effort, and swiveling the racks to the best position, you could fit the chairs and the umbrella. I purchased some releasable cable ties so I can secure them and just release them when I get to...

Re: Carver Surf Racks installed =)
Huh, this could actually work for that. I'll try it out with my two sand chairs and umbrella and take some pics if I can make it work!
I'll also post a few more pics of how it's mounted.

Re: Carver Surf Racks installed =)
Quite secure. The longboard skateboard is 9.5lbs, and the shortboard about 6lbs. I zip tie the longboard to the racks with a "releasable" cable tie. I can go full throttle on the freeway with it hitting 70+mph, so it's secure. Now, a surfboard (which it is intended for) may be a different ...

Holes drilled 2/3" further back. SHould help you some, but at 6'2", you're still going to be cramped.

Carver Surf Racks installed =)
Got these from Surfboards.com. $111 shipped, no tax. Had to do their 10% price match guarantee with the ones I found on Amazon and he beat it by 10%. =) Anyway, when I first got them, I was worried they weren't going to work. I knew I wanted to use the mounts from the luggage box. After some thought...

Re: looking for advise
For what you mentioned (sustained 55mph) you'll be just fine. Forza would be overkill. =)
I got two of these things and for under $100, you can change out the variator & drive face and add 9mph to the top speed upping it to 77mph, which will bring the revs at 55mph down lower.

Re: Webike new parts
Liking that the Power Silet Oval exhaust is showing some nice gains even on it's own. =) THe whole kit is $549 euros...what a deal! I'm tempted. But really don't feel like wrenching on the bike. Would prefer to just ride it. But it is sounding really nice. Good thing I'm reasonably light weight at 1...

Re: Hello to All!
Thanks guys, I just ordered the Yoshimura titanium exaust for my PCX150, just couldn't stand against it. I was thinking about to buy it or not for a week! :) It is expensive but I adore the look of this Yoshimura, and the sound seems is just right and it is a brand, quality is everywhere. I don't l...

Re: 2015 PCX150 US
I'm extremely excited. Just hoping it comes in when he says it is and everything goes well. That's what I'd be worried about. But should aleardy be on the boat at this point. Usually 3 weeks on the boat, and another few at the port. Then transport to where you're at. Good luck, and good call on the...

Re: Best drive face option?
Ok, update...real world results. NCY variator w/ NCY drive face and OEM rollers 77mph max speed with only 150 miles on the odometer (so, ne belt)...just like dem0nk1d. Not sure why my otther scooter with presumably identical parts goes 2mph faster, unless there's been something else done to it I don...

Re: Pcx Max tire size front and rear?
I'm not going to lie, after all that talk I did about distorting the tire profile, it really looks as if this tire was made for the PCX's narrow rim. In this case, the only tradeoff would be to added weight of the tires, which is significant enough to slow down accel noticably, as well as top speed ...

Re: Best drive face option?
So, my 1st PCX150 came with the NCY SUper trans kit and was limited in top speed due to the stiff contra spring that came with the kit. With the rear clutch assy re-installed just running the variator and NCY drive face, I get an indicated 79mph. On my new PCX150, I got an NCY variator only and used...

Re: Centerstand removed...Weighs 2.75lbs
Just weighed the left side passenger footpeg...1lb 1.5oz. Not worth removing since it's some work to get to and not that significant of weight savings. I guess I'll keep those on.

Re: Pcx Max tire size front and rear?
Just so we're clear, I'm not a hater of guys who put wide tires on narrow rims, just wanted to make you aware of the consequences of doing it...that's all. I wouldn't do it myself, and DemonK1d has already said that he lost "power" with the wide rubber as it adds 3-4lbs per tire. There is ...

Re: leo vince exhaust
Prob is with a lot of aftermarket co's, they build exhausts to sell to idiots. There is a science to the exhaust length and diameter. And all too often, aftermarket suppliers build them way too large of diameter for looks which does 2 things...adds excess weight and is not optimum for performance. A...

Re: Farewell PCX
I'm working on making mine more powerful. I came from riding 1000cc late model sportbikes with 165hp until I got busted doing wheelies several times. THe PCX is to keep me in check. I tried the CBR 250, but found it a bit frustrating as MPG wasn't great, MPG was less than expected, and then there's ...

Nice post Tribpreper. I agree. Re: Pcx Max tire size front and rear?
As a follow on to my above post: Regarding fitting 140 and 120mm width rubber, and benefit you gain from a grippier rubber compound will be negated in confidence lost in an inferior tire profile as a result of squeezing too much rubber on a narrower rim. Those who do fit the wider rubber, feel free ...
