Re: Woof! A warning!
Hey Mich, now you know and won't panic. Several other skuders have a similar situation, that if you lock your key under the seat ...ooops. But some get a small cable to attach and hang it under the box, then if the cable does break like GN2 suggests is remotely possible, you can still get inside. If...

Re: Help making rear mount for top case
Got it. The Givi racks are not available yet in the U.S. and Honda was a back order here.
So, I got 4 m8 bolts, 4 one inch spacers, the shortest piece of aluminum angle stock and now have my Givi case mounted.
I found the information on the Shad case website. Thanks to anyone who was helping search.

Help making rear mount for top case
I know I saw a picture somewhere, but I can't find it. Someone used 90 degree metal strips and bolts to make a mount for the givi or shad case. Could someone tell me the size of the bolts needed to mount the rack? I was thinking they were 8mmX50. Then used metal tubing to support the rack. Since I a...

Re: Leg Shields
WN, you are on my bad list now  You are encouraging me!!!!!!! Or does that make you my co-conspirator? Oh yes!!! It's all fun for me. I did use stickers before. I bought a bunch of butterfly stickers of different sizes/colors for my nieces wedding. I left them on for a 4 day trip and got lots o...

Re: Leg Shields
Thanks, I have used colored mats and painted one set black that I put on a Burgman 650. I was planning on Black to match the boards or red to match the tupperware. They sell red mats, but not black ones. I guess cooks don't like black cutting mats. After I put them on, I kinda liked the look (opaque...

Re: Leg Shields
Too bad this won't work for the PCX. Ok, I now understand why it won't work on the PCX. It would have to be very different and probably in 2 parts. The turn signal mount would have to be worked around also. I haven't ridden a PCX, but it looks (in the pics) to me like it has better leg protection t...

Re: Do you think the fairings will help?
Just a bit warmer here, but I'll wait for it to warm just a smidgen. I did ride 100 miles once at about 10 F and had a fairing on a cruiser. Hippora gloves. Hands were in great pain...not as bad a kidney stones, but close. So today my baby is getting a Lemon Pledge shine and she is enjoying it. (Me ...

China Town:

Nice restaurant on one side and an Asian food court in the back.
Asian/Latino community very thick there.
edit: You You, I can make 17 sets of the leg guards for the price of one pair of those hunter socks.

Re: Leg Shields
I'll have to look at the PCX, I've made these for the elite 250, Burgman 650, and now my Forza. Should be able to fashion something. I just tested them on the same route I did my previous test ... 348 miles over to the casino...lost $20, but the feet and shins didn't suffer from the cold wind!!!! He...

Leg Shields
I tried plexiglass, which worked well until it cracked. It also got in the way of the brake. I pressed the bottom edge of the plastic between the floorboard and tupperware. I folded the top section in about 1/2 inch and used industrial velcro to hold it in place because the top section it not straig...

You (France) has a large SilverWing and Burgman group that goes riding together and post vids on youtube. I've talked with my brother about taking holiday there to ride the Alps or some other mountain tours there. In my dreams!!!!

Givi for USA
I sent GiviUSA an email asking when top case mounts for the Forza would be available. I just received a reply from Givi USA saying that the top case mounts are expected in the 2nd week of February. Seems our overseas members have been having the advantage, but they are finally getting some parts/acc...

Re: New bloke. Hello!!
Ah, yes, in my speed reading course I must have missed the comprehension part. Yes, that is sharp. And storage deluxe under the seat. Luxury scoot. Congrats. Is that deflector at the top of screen stock on your model. Here in the states it is not. **I've only gotten 10 hours sleep since Christmas Ev...

Re: New bloke. Hello!!
Bought the white one but posted the pic of the black one......well, I guess that's close. :D Yes, the styling on that one is nice. I hope after you ride it a few thousand kms you still feel comfortable and happy with it. That just don't sound right...here in the U.S., we say things like "Anothe...

Re: New bloke. Hello!!
Fizzy, I saw you posted on other boards almost the same info. It is good to get plenty of feed back. It is better to pass when in doubt than to get something while wishing you had gotten another. I've had 27 bikes (counting this Forza) and I love them all. 50cc scooters all the way to the 1800 GL. T...

Re: New bloke. Hello!!
Yes on Forza seat width. That was the first thing (after sitting on it) that I noticed. And I am an ex-Burgman owner, so yes it is like touring car with plenty of storage which is my one disappointment with the Forza. I chose the Forza over the PCX because I ride on roads that the PCX isn't legal on...

I tried the img link and an error message said the image was too large. I didn't want to resize it at the time, I just put the link.
I didn't think about linking to one of the thumbnails at the time.
Thanks.
