Re: Folding Backpack
Although I was unable to find the seat bag at WalMart that Indyglow was talking about, I did find a handlebar bag which appears to be a perfect fit for the PCX. It is a Bell Stowaway 350 handlebar bag which is actually made for bicycles, but it fits the PCX perfectly. The bag has strong Velcro mounts...

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
I understand the comments about the value of extended insurance coverage; however, it give me a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing that -- after the initial 1 year insurance coverage expires-- my $ 275 extra insurance investment means that I won't have to pay out any large sums for money for the next 4 yea...

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
kcpcx, it sounds like your dad got a sensational deal !!! The extended warranty price sheet that the dealer showed me had the regular price for the 5 year warranty ( 1 year regular warranty plus 4 additional years) at $ 350. He discounted it to $ 275. Sounded like a good deal to me. If you had just ...

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
You could ask them if they would throw in an extended warranty at no extra charge.
Worth a try.

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
I got my new 2015 PCX150 for $3,595 out the door (everything except the $25 license tag). I also bought a 5 year extended warranty, which brought the total OTD price to $ 3,870. My dealer was Honda of Columbia, SC. Note: The dealers get a 5 % kickback from Honda even if they sell the PCX for dealer ...

Re: Folding Backpack
Thanks for the input, Valiant. That's something to consider if the foldable backpacks ( such as the Hikpro ) don't seem to be up to the task. I've only carried lighter items in my Hikpro so far, so I really don't know how much stress it can take. Your approach makes sense. Rather than loading the ar...

Here's what I said, You You: "So far, I am pleased with the HikPro backpack." Oh, You You !!! You just can't help it, I guess. Old habits die hard. Perhaps you need to start your own thread to showcase your clever remarks which add nothing to any given topic which is being discussed. Hope ...

Re: Folding Backpack
Indglow, I haven't been able to find your seat bag at WalMart yet; however, they did have this Bell handlebar bag which might be perfect for small items. It has velcro attachment straps on its back side that might work well with the PCX's handlebars. I don't think that it would interfere with gettin...

Indyglow : Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check out that pack at WalMart. WhiteNoise: Here's a place you can see and buy the blue backpack: http://www.amazon.com/Ultralight-Lightweight-Backpacking-Travelling-backpacks/dp/B00HEZ9V0O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410970353&sr=8-1&keywords...

Re: Folding Backpack
Pretty neat idea, Sowaka. Don't know if you could fold it up when not in use,
though. Reflective material would be really nice for night riding, I guess.

Re: Folding Backpack
To see the backpack, click on the Hikpro address that I inserted in the first post on this thread.
For some reason, "re-copying" it didn't work.

Homie Here's the bag I got. Looks like the price has gone up a bit.....still not much money, though. With a little bit of looking, I got mine on Amazon.com for $15.99 and free shipping. http://www.amazon.com/Ultralight-Lightw ... rds=hikpro You can find similar bags on the internet (generally for ab...

You You Perhaps you need to start a thread which features off-hand thoughts such as those. My point was that such comments are off-topic and tend to detract from the current topic; as such, they don't add much value or focus on the current topic (whether the topic was initiated by me or anyone else,...

Re: Folding Backpack
Actually, I got my blue Hikpro backpack from Amazon.com / Beauty of Micro for $ 15.99, with free shipping. Funny thing about Amazon: You can sometimes find a given item in different departments at different prices, some with free shipping, some not. I had to buy $35 worth of "free shipping"...

Re: Folding Backpack
I used the Hikpro backpack the first time today. Without it, I would have had one badly squashed loaf of bread. I was able to get everything else under the seat, but there was no room for the bread (without crushing it). The backpack worked perfectly for this minor task. So far, so good. I hardly no...

Re: Folding Backpack
I received the Hikpro backpack today, and it seems to be well worth the money. It appears to be large enough to hold any "overflow" grocery items that I can't get under the seat. Four zippered pockets plus two bottle holder mesh pockets. I don't expect to have a need to carry really large ...
