Aftermarket Exhaust

Post by Neil955i »

I have recently fitted a stainless steel aftermarket system from Black Widow on my 2016 PCX 125. Good fit, if a bit fiddly getting the manifold to line up with the studs!

Nice sound - a bit louder than stock, meaning it now sounds less like a sewing machine. Build quality excellent and overall well satisfied. One word of warning though, it does not give quite the ground clearance of the oe system so the first thing to touch down on right-handers is now the header pipe rather than the centre stand!ImageImage

8) Got Sound? I Still want to hear it :D

Sorry about the trade off. Scraping header pipe vs Style 'n Sound. Always an aftermarket price to pay, heh? Something else to be mindful of. I stopped clutching just to buy less mindful time.
Let us know how you like it after riding for awhile.

I whole heartedly agree, with fine tuned ears (or not), our scoots Do sound like sewing machines  whilst we sit on them. May sound different as we wiz by. I've tossed around the idea of replacing my exhaust a dozen or more. Haven't done it yet, probably won't. But I Do Like "Proper" noise on a bike. I def get that! :) 8)

Your word is my command ModSquad!
Tried to upload a short clip, but the platform doesn't support .MOV extensions? Try this Dropbox link:

Failing that, let me know and I'll record an audio clip tomorrow!

Sorry not to get back to you on this, but I’ve now traded the PCX in for a Kymco X-Town 300i for just about two grand less than the Forza 300! No brainer.

That was quick Neil, and you just put the new exhaust on! Curious as to the reason...more power?
Anywho, Good luck with the X-Town 300i - a fine scoot it is! :)
