Removing centre stand

I'm just curious if any fellow forza riders have removed their centre stands at all? I did it on my last bike (none forza) but that was purely because the exhaust mount was different to standard so it was either no exhaust or no stand, so went with the latter. Anyway, I never use my centre stand on my forza and lately it's dropped about 2 inches when it's up (it won't hold any further like when I first had it), so when I turn a corner you can hear it bouncing and scraping and I'm just worried it's gonna catch and do major damage soon, for the moment I've got it duct taped to the bike to rise it as much as it will go, but I'd rather just remove it, thankfully it's not got a kill switch like the side stand, so just wondering if anyone has removed theirs or knows if it's as simple as unbolting and removing?

Any help is appreciated

As far as I recall, its the same as the PCX (but with a bolt to undo) and there's a how-to here: https://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1344

An another, Forza specific one here: https://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=9801

Well, specific to a Forza 300. If you have a 125, GN2's is probably more accurate. We forget about the Forza 125 around here since it never made it to the USA.

It is amazing how fast things get buried....
