Post by eggman »

it is a 50 cc scooter with a gy6 engine. if you cant fix stuff you should stay with honda . the honda is a lot better. but for around 820 shiped the china scoot rocks. i had to change some vacumn lines and carb but now it runs great.but i still love honda so i got the rebel 300 cc still

I've owned 4 China Davidsons before my first Honda then another China scooter and now.. dun..dun..dunn

I got my creme de la creme,
2016 Honda PCX WW150..
153CC displacement, 1.8g tank, 103.5mphg, tops out around 60..
But anyway, I've done a lot of work on china scoots
Some advice and tuning methods if you want:
1. Rejet your carb or buy new carb thats rejetted.
2. Use a drill and drill bit to drill through and remove the brass cap protecting your A/F screw.
3. Install performance CDI, Ignition Coil, Air Cone and flywheel fan.
4. Get you a Gel Glass Mat or Gel cell battery, 7aH.
5. Minimize vacuum lines to increase impression. I run a line from petcock to a T when one end goes into carb, the other in your intake manifold. Plug any excess vacuum ports.
6. Remove all slack from throttle cable.
7. Start bike and adjust idle till its high enough rpm to just barely move the wheels.
8. Turn A/F screw all the way tight. Loosen 2 whole turns then begin adjusting by 1/8 turns until you have peek RPM.
