New bakery & photo op

Post by fish »

Going through town before sunrise today passed this well lit store front.
"Le Torte Dolci", our new European style pastry shop.
My daughter & I visited on their opening day a few weeks ago. Very nice. 2 doors down from a new coffee shop - but neither are actually open during my early hours.

While I was taking snaps the owner came out to chat, and took a couple of his own of my LIKE200iLX. :)
He asked - so I explained that I was on my normal scooter ride to my coffee village @ 20 miles distant.

Maybe he will have a pastry for you next time.

I had someone ask me how fast my "fancy rocket" could go today when he saw me pulling up beside our local Target store. I told him 75 mph and he looked surprised.
Then he said, "Legally??"
"Yep. It may only be 150cc's but it does everything I could want it to do. After all, it IS a Honda."
