Found this gem locally in great condition for a 2015 model. Couldn't help myself. I look forward to restoring her to its former glory; maybe even bumping it up from 150cc to 180cc.

There is some surface rust on the frame in multiple areas that I want to deal with before it spreads like cancer, Knicks on the engine/clutch case scratches/gouges on almost every plastic panel from where the previous owner has either traded paint or dropped the bike. The chrome is chipping on the exhaust, gear selector & footbrake. Either front wheel is bent or steering column bearings are toast. The front rotor and/or pads may need replacing as there are patches of cross hatching on one side of the rotor as if the pad hasn't seated or mated correctly with the rotor face which is hard to believe for a 3 year old bike with 12,500km.. Stator is also providing less then 12v so yea.... Basically I want to restore this to show room floor quality and leave it as a Sunday toy since these are no longer being sold in my country.

Hehe thanks... CT is not bad either. Out of the 7 years that I lived in RI by far my favorite place to drive the m3 was from RI to CT via Route 6. There were soo many hills and nice twisties on that route ... God those were the days!


Not sure how much Rt 6 to RI is out of your way from your current location but if you ever have the time id recommend it if you enjoy nice long cruises.

The Susuki Satria 150. It's called the underbone King in Asia, fastest underbone in its cc's category.

Careful with engine cc upgrade, it's already too lightweight for its current displacement. IMO

Congrats. Looks like fun. Is this the newer efi version with 18 hp or the older carbed engine setup?

I've never seen an underbone sold in Aus, except for the Honda CT110 "Postie bike" licenced exclusively to Australia Post, and it's derivatives and clones (Sym).

The closet we can get to that are the little GSX 125 and 250s with the blue Suzuki livery. Better than a Grom or CB125, that's for sure. The 250 is gutless, though.

That Satria isn't really an underbone, its a regular bike with a gap where the the fuel tank usually sits.

Gotcha. It also doesn't help that the rear tires are so small with disks out back w/ out abs... Its so easy to lockup the rears that I've grown to appreciate the drums on my honda airblade.

Gee I wish this was the FI/LED version. It looks far better and drinks a lot less gas then the carb version. I think FI started the year after mine.

Are those tires what originally came on that bike?! Those are moped tires! Even PCX tires are wider and probably could handle cornering better than those ones that are on the bike now.

Those are normal tire sizes for small underbones..

The PCX has wider rims also to support those larger tires; but like alx123 mentioned this is the norm for most of these bikes unfortunately. In truly does suck having more hp and torque then my 125esp engine but at the same time have less rubber and protection to go along with it..

Gee that looks good for a 12 year old bike... Bikes here in Bermuda look pretty bad after 4 years due to the salt in the air.

I wish Suzuki would throw a slightly wider back wheel on their raider/satria's kind of like how Yamaha has did with the Juipiter 135.

By the way your country and temples are absolutely beautiful... My girlfriend and I visited Bangkok along with Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh back in Feb and loved it with Thailand being our favorite by far!
