The 2018 Piaggio Beverley 350. Is it seriously two up capable? Is it comfortable?

They still sell these at the two Vespa dealers who continue to survive in my state. Usually only see them listed in small numbers. . ..

Not a bad looking machine. I guess Law Enforcement uses them in some countries. 8)

Nice, but I still like the PCX design better. There is something about the steering setup that says "scooter". With a 350cc Engine it should steer more like a motorcycle.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

The BV350 is a beautiful machine - more capable than a Forza for 2 up riding.
I came that close to buying the BV350 instead of the Forza - esp. when the Honda and Vespa dealers matched prices for my $$.
Wife liked the Honda better....plus we have 3 big Honda powersports franchises nearby. VESPA dealer went belly up two months ago.
Forza 279 is little sister to the BV 350.
PCX is a.....

The most powerful scoot under 400cc so long as you don't opt for the gay Euro 4 model...
A bit feminine looking with the rotating head assembly, and you can't put your feet forward. :|
And expensive compared to an Xmax 300.

The Euro 4 BV350 is only 2.4hp down on the previous one, hardly worth worrying over.
The Xmax is a whopping £100 cheaper than the BV350, again, hardly worth worrying over.

I see the 300 version of the Beverly has made a welcome comeback to the UK with ABS and traction control for 2018.
It retains the prettier wheels but the bronze colour option sadly is no more.
And the best bit... at £4400 its £900 cheaper than the 350.

2.3kW (~3.1hp) difference in Oz! :o And here the Xmax 300 is about $1600AUD cheaper (for the time being).
