Humpectomy

After a bit of searching I found some great info and pics on how to help with the first thing
I didn't like about my PCX. The seat just didn't do it for me. Struggled with the seat on my SH150i
much of last summer and was just getting a little more comfortable with it (after a few strip downs and re-foams) when it was stolen.
First thing i did was remove the bolt on LUMP and when I looked underneath the I saw that something had to go. More lumps.
That option was not available on the SH150i.
Want to thank 'sendler2112' , 'kiapolo1887' and others for showing me how to make my first improvement to my PCX.
Still have top box mount, windshield and turning up the handlebars to go.

Remember that unlike the SH the windscreen on the PCX is fitted to the body so if you fit a tall screen you may not have sufficient clearance to rotate the bars as far forward as you would like.

The above is not being said to discourage you, but to just let you be aware of it. Others on this forum have adjusted their handlebar and still added the tall windshield. It may just limit your turning some. I have not adjusted my handlebars but do have the tall windshield on mine, and my turning was limited before I purchased mirror extenders. It is just something you work around.

As for the seat on the 2013, I pulled mine all together and purchased an after-market one, but there are some members who have found great shops for modifying their factory seats and are very happy with the results.

Thanks for the reminder gn2. Had stationary windshields on my old Goldwing and of course the
Vetter Windjammer on a 'Water Buffalo' but that was some time ago.
I am planning to get a windshield for the PCX but haven't decided on the brand. Saw a pic of
one that gave the hands some protection like my SH Givi did.
I had to remove about 3 in. off the top. I like to be able to look above the screen so I can see
the road about 30-35 ft ahead of me without looking through. Mel46- How tall is yours in inches from the bottom of the stock little guy
and is it flat on the top or does it curve forward. Meaning can it be cut down.
(Got it-Pic's 1920 by 1080 max)
Got the parts PDF.
Also will be looking for a '13 service manual in the near future.
