I'm glad it doesn't look like the bloated older Forza, though the new design looks like a copy of Yamaha's Xmax (not unique).

This is to compete with the Xmax's features for sure..

Rear suspension looks flimsy..

It would still be pearl white color for me...

I've had a lot of motorcycles and like the PCX due to its lighter weight. The new Forza is still 401 lbs. H*ll, that's more than my 50 year old 650cc Triumph Tiger weighs unladen.

I'd rather have a 200cc +/- PCX with 30 more lbs, a bit longer wheelbase, and 5 more hp. But, obviously Honda's research didn't indicate my preferences were that of a typical rider.

With the larger wheels, shorter wheel base, and raised height ,it will make for a taller rider.Good for the SE Asians ,but bigger folks will be even a greater wind drag.

Perhaps, but the new Forza will be significantly more comfortable, practical, reliable, economical and safer than your old Tiggr.

I understand that, but considering advancements in chassis and suspension design, id personally prefer if some manufacturer made a modern 300cc scoot to weigh a less than that.

That slightly taller seat height figure worries me a little. I've always thought of the current Forza as having flat-foot issues, though they are mostly on account of the broader seat and wide body. Maybe the new Forza redesign addresses that.

Seams underpowered compared to xmax 300. I'd prefer the xmax if riding on the motorway is needed. Prefer the styling of the forza. Are they indicators in the mirrors?

update: I'm starting to see a lot of new Forza 300 2018 running the streets of Bangkok now.

It looks great, and i want one as an upgrade. The PCX's lack of ABS is a becoming of a big deal to me now that I experienced a couple of instances where the lack of ABS scared the sh#t out me.

I'm at odds though, the XMAX looks a little more better on paper, just a bit...

Also,Yamaha is cheaper than the Honda here..

Yamaha usually have massive valve clearance intervals so could have cheaper servicing costs.
Wouldn't recommend buying the new Forza for at least 18 months till the wrinkles get ironed out.

Anyone heard any more news about if/when the new Forza will be on dealer showrooms in the U.S.?

Obviously it looks like it will be a 2019 here. . ..

Also, I wonder what the load carrying capacity will be on it. It would be good to know when you need to carry a pillion. 8)

To me the XMAX is kind of a mess. When I sit on a bike I get the general layout feel. Does it feel like its ONE with the rider or a series of mis fitting shapes and odds and ends thrown in. I think the XMAX is all wrong in some areas, the wide butt the narrow front the dash that looks like a robot dog is looking at you. Front and rear turn lights from the 80s. Its just not a complete package from a looks perspective. Now the perfect ride imo is you're just talking about looks and feels currently is the Kymco Xciting 400 which I would much rather get than any 300. Its pretty much the same costs since Kymco is discounted so often and you get a 100 more cc for a few hundred dollars more which is a lot more CC than a 300.

If I had to replace my Forza today it would be Kymco 400 than nothing else at the moment.

i like Xmax's "wider butt look", it's more visible from behind. Was tailing a Forza 2018 yesterday, and at first look I thought it was just a PCX. In contrast, The Xmax has this "look at my ass" attitude LOL

Most of the tech on the new Forza 300 is taken from the proven 125, and the engine is supposed to be the same as the SH300 (according to reviews), if so, proven over many years to be reliable.
