Oil Change Light

Hi! I have a Honda Forza 300 which is 5-6 years old but I have only 12,000 Km on it.
Recently the "Oil Change" light on the scooters dash began to glow. I checked the oil level and all is well. The scooter was serviced at 11,000 km (12,000 km service early) but that was a year ago.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to reset the light?
*** PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TO TAKE THE SCOOTER TO MY DEALER (THE DEALER IS LOCATED 170 KM (100 MILES) AWAY ***
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Peter

Hold RESET button while turning ignition to ON, and keep holding RESET for more than 3 seconds.
Light will not come back on for another 12,800 km after resetting the light.

Thanks, AustinPCX. While a simple answer, it is perhaps worthy of duplicating in the Forza How-To section.

AustinPCX, thank you very much! That solution worked perfectly!

The last 2 times I have tried resetting the clock (after removing the battery for a reason or
another), I have instead by accident reset the darn oil-change light. Now at 24,000 km, and
have yet to see the idiot one come On...
I was beginning to think something was wrong with the printed board (meter)...but no, that was
just me screwing the push buttons...
Anyways, I change the oil every 2K at most. F.ck that idiot light.

At 68,000 km I am following Honda's oil change interval. I would have done 34 oil changes by now @2000k. I just like to ride. If I wanted to do that many oil changes I would get a job at the local Quickee Lube.
The oil change light does work and so does the reset procedure. Although I have only seen it a few times.
I rode to Boston Bar yesterday with a snow warning on the iPhone. I had the road to myself. The temperature was about 5C so I was not too concerned about ice & snow. It snowed last night. Back to the 4x4 today.

It takes me 5 minutes to do an oil change, that is, not even an hour total in 2 yrs riding the scoot.
Not quite the Quickee Lube fulltime job, mind you.
This engine will last forever, most probably.
