Evening from a newbie.

Can someone please tell me how to reset my ECU as the engine management light continues to flash but bike runs excellent without any problems.

Someone said you can bridge out the diagnostic plug some way but need to confirm please

List all modifications you’ve done to this vehicle.

If you search google (and often it's good to do that and find links to this forum as the search is a bit quirky) you can find lots of info on doing this.

You may think it is running well, but it is probably not (with that MIL blinking) : the ECU, sensing a
problem, has self-adjusted to a pre-set, rideable data value for the defective sensor/component.

BASED ON OTHER SIMILAR HONDA SCOOTS :
Now, if you want to know which component is at fault : locate the RED diagnostic plug (DLC), there
should be a BROWN wire there. Jump that brown wire to ground and a code should appear on
your digital display. I have a list of Honda codes coming soon.

So here are the codes, from both my Metropolitan and Forza (the PCX 125/150 use the same PGM-FI):

- 1: MAP sensor (intake vacuum)
- 7: ETC sensor (coolant temp)
- 8: TPS sensor (throttle opening degrees)
- 9: IAT sensor (int. air temp)
-12: injector
-21: Oxygen sensor
-29: IACV (idle speed air valve
-33: ECU fault
-54: angle sensor (fall safety cut-off)

Jumping the diag-plug Brown wire to ground will show memorized codes, so may help identify
a crazy, intermittent problem.

Update: if similar to the Forza, yours will 'blink' the codes:

Long 'blinks' count for 10. Short 'blinks' count for 1. Examples : 8 short blinks=8= TPS ; 2 long ones followed by 1 short=21= O2 sensor. Etc.

I went down and checked with the Metro and it too will 'blink' the fault codes using the MIL light, not show a code number on the digital display (like many other bikes do).

So forget about the digital display, and just count the MIL (engine light) blinks.
