Question. . . Is this on the forum somewhere??

I just thought of an interesting add for the forum.
I've looked around, but haven't seen an area like this.

Is it possible, or is there already, am area where people talk about the rides they take?
Not a day by day, I road to work today, but an area where people talk about interesting rides
they take for leisure cruising on their PCX's.

If there is and area, could someone post a link to it?
If not, do others have an interest in an area like this??

Thanks!!!

Usually members start a thread about rides they have taken, whether it be short or long. Quite a few years ago someone posted about their cross country ride on the PCX. Just like the Cannon Ball run that cars have been known to do, there are bike runs that go all the way across America as well.
There are also riders who have gone to and around the Dragon's Tail on their PCX. You just have to look around. There isn't a set area for them.

I believe your question is answered here:
http://www.hondapcx.org/viewforum.php?f=5

This is How to get ^^ there Without clicking the link above:
Go to the forum's "Board Index" Page then scroll down the page to Add Ons. Now look for and click on: "Rides and Events"
There are several pages you can look through for member rides - day and touring (some with photo's).
Hope this helped. Enjoy their ride(s) and yours :P

Here is one of the stories.
Thanks Mel for bringing that tour thread to our attention. It will be moved to the proper location ;)

Thanks for the responses!! Thanks for the links, and I'll keep looking around.
My longest ride was about 800 miles in 2 days.
Then, I jammed my knee on a local ride. Hope to be back riding soon!!

You're very welcome :P
800 miles/2days on a PCX saddle? Guess you two get along. Then you go local and hurt your knee? I have to chuckle (sorry  ) What happened? Heal fast!! Ride longer ;)

800 miles on a seat with the hump, that's impressive. ;)

Well, thanks for the good healing wishes!!
The seat has been neutered (humpectomy) and I've added some "mickey mouse" padding.
I bought am ATV seat pad, which helped a little on comfort and covered the patched holes in the original seat.
Then, I bought a small foam cushion and put it under the AVT pad. This helped even more.

As for what happened, I was out with the local small cc club riding around town after a car show.
My front brake grabbed more than I expected and I did an unplanned stoppie.
The rear end came around to the left and, to keep the scoot from hitting the grom next to me, I put down my left foot.
Needless to say, I jammed my knee up pretty bad.
I guess the metal plates, pins and screws they installed last year to repair my shattered tibia kept
that part of my leg together.

The good thing is that, I'll heal and the scooter is completely unscathed.

My long trip was to the town of Spur, TX. It is the first "Tiny-Home Friendly" city in the USA.
A quaint little town of about 900 people. The sidewalks roll up at 7pm and the roads roll up at 8:30. LOL!!!
As an old desert rat, I loved the place!! The only thing open after 8:30 is the ALLSUPS Convenience Store(24 HRS).
Gonna go back and look for a lot to build on!!!
I can scoot around during the day and relax on the porch in the evening playing the ol' 6-String.
