OK. So I got the manual (repair book) with parts illustration.
Input shaft-Drive shaft
17-tooth gear

Counter Gear
54-tooth gear

Counter Shaft Gear
13-tooth gear

Final Gear-Output Shaft
44-tooth gear

The ratio is listed as 10.751 from Yuminashi e-mail. If I go with the Kitaco 51-tooth swap alone it will change the ratio to 10.154. If I go with the Yuminashi 53-tooth change is goes to 10.552 ratio. I think I will try the Yuminashi gear change to start with. If I got BBK later then I will do the full kit Yuminashi 15/45 and Kitaco 51-tooth to drop it to 9.529 and will have the 53-tooth still available just incase to carry it back up if needed.

Still trying to wrap my noodle around the ratios to calculate what I want to do. Just trying to get off the rev limiter at 71-73mph now. Old school mechanic still can not get out of the old habit of tinkering for speed lol

Send me a PM with your email, and I'll send you an excel with calculations regarding gearing.

Well back on the forum after a few months of stress. Wrecked the scoot (nothing but cosmetic damage) and personal issues had me down and out since the middle of July. This old vet has been fighting demons and a lot of issues dumped on me. I am still here and still breathing.

Update for 2019. Pulled the CVT cover off and cleaned checked everything real good. The shaft the variator rides on was dusty and sticky as well as all my rollers weight went from 13g down to 12.85 average. Not sure of how thick the clutch pads should be but there is some pad there. I will scuff them and the drum to take the haze off. Belt looked good but did loose around 1000-2000ths of an inch over the new belt (ready to be installed if needed). She can still hit speeds up to 70-71mph GPS but rear tire is worn down (Going with the City Grip 100/90/14 for now) and needs a replacement. All the dust from belt wear and rollers may have had the roller plate sticking (she is washed and cleaned up good now). Other than my health I am not afraid to ride this thing anyplace at all. I am going to try some "Boostane" fuel additive as it seems I do get iffy fuel here. One fill up of 1.5 gals on premium does not mean you get it at the pump. I enjoy the Leo Vince Corsa GT exhaust and even removed the silencer for shizznits and giggles. The gear change will come later when I get my funding straight. Budget is a fudge bucket right now. Going to make a 160 mile round trip soon to visit a doctor to get my records for the VA. I still have to replace the panels from when I dropped it lol.

Best scooter I have ever owned and reliable as all get out. I have ridden it every month since I bought it in 2017. Even in the cold lol. I now have around 6500 miles on her and she purrs when I stick the key in and climb on her. (Get your minds out of the gutter lol) I may end up ordering all new body panels and have a buddy of mine at a body shop paint it 2016 Chevrolet (Blue me away metallic). Remember USAF blue here. @Homie I am now looking into that variator face tool. Getting ready to make it now.

@ Homie. Found me a trick that worked fine with the NCY CVT set up. When I reinstall the variator set I placed a 1/2" drive extension between the variator and case ( between the block and variator) to lock it down to torque the nut proper. I am not sure if it will work with the stock but I will check it next time. The ears on the variator are real thick (near the slides) and will not give.

Test and measure time. I have been thinking hard about some of the measurements of the CVT variator and face. Found some new info today that may give a new view as to why the NCY kit works so much better than the stock setup. I am going to install the 18g rollers in the NCY kit and test a few things. I will post my findings in a few. Salute 07

Note the NCY variator kit has a recess and boss that pulls the variator closer together and helps the belt ride further out on the pulley assembly. It seems as close a 2mm-4mm not sure. Also the pulley assembly seems to be about the same diameter for both. I put the stock 18g rollers in her and she became a smooth machine with no vibrations. Still hit 71mph GPS with a worn down rear tire.

Will do. I will make some runs this week and hope to have a video up soon (youtube). Been fighting the R.A. like a boss again. I am ready to get a rear tire next ($$$$) so I can see what she has from there. The belt is worn some but not going to change it just yet. Thanks for the reminder. Salute 07

New opening video and summer fun run. Getting back to doing video work. Still running the worn rear stock tire. I still need to decide on the tire size I want.

OK team. I went back with a 100/90-14 Michelin City Grip (MCG) this time. I put everything back together and torqued it to specs. and wondered if anyone knows what the torque spec is for the swing arm to block/case is? I went with 36ftlbs (same as the muffler listing) and the axle nut was 85ftlbs. New belt is still on the shelf. Cleaned the variator 1 time this year. If there is a number for the 2 bolts let me know so I can write them into the manual. I took a short trip Friday and she did fine. 103+ mile round trip. She still has the mold injection stringers/nipples and did not wear any off lol. The MCG seems to be a better harder compound tire that works for me. I did notice loss of power (bad gas to me) and the temps with humidity did not help. Topped out around 71mph with out hitting the rev limiter. I will get me some Boostane and Lucas Fuel system clean/protector and run a few oz. in her. All I have to say is 2 years in and I am happy with the nimble fun to ride Honda PCX. I may mod the Leo Vince GP Corsa exhaust a little due to the sound ringing in my ears at 55-65mph. I love the deep sound but it exits right beside my ear lol. Need to extend it past or further back a little.

Have not noticed any shock bottoming out issues (my butt may be to light) or any other stability issues. I still have to replace the covers/body panels I scratched last year when I did the death wobble drop. Left brake lever as well. I am getting my funding straight and hope to have a few things done over the winter. I want to get the rear rack then a MMG 48-51l top box (push button removable). I did mount up a cell phone holder I use for the audio/ GPS read out and a bottler holder (turned side ways) to the handle bar to hold my JBL Flip 4. I can hear my music even up to 55-60mph but the muffler is so far forward the drumming sound almost nulls the audio.

I might be incorrect, but I thought tongue specs are more related to bolt size than anything else. So if I can't find a spec, I use the generic value for that bolt size (listed many places on the 'net). Have I been incorrect in thinking this ?

That's the way I understand it too springer1. If I find a torque in the manual that's my first choice but otherwise bolt size would be correct. Having said that, for common fasteners I just use my semi-calibrated hands. LOL.
