There was a time when I'd be foolish enough to try and find out. But old age and the fear of creating a preexisting condition scares the hell out of me.

I'm going to make an educated guess that the Variator is modified with lighter weight rollers or sliders. . .more down low and less top end. Not sure about the exhaust. The used one they started up today at the dealership sounded really quiet in comparison. :geek:

I must be getting old too because I never even tried to lift the front once in 5500 miles on the scooter. I was shocked when I saw the video o_O I've done it accidentally several times on the Buell but always about piss myself. You know you can get a 100.00 ticket for riding with no hands so imagine wheelie fine around this town.

Not sure, it's hard to read the flags in the distance. But it looked like the Kentucky Fried Chicken Colonel was popping his head up over the fence.

If I stayed in school longer and learned how to speak Taiwanese I'd know.

It looked to me like the center stand was removed but I could be wrong. Didn't hear that familiar metal on pavement sound. o_O

I was thinking the same thing about ground clearance. Has to be a stock header because too many of the after market ones would be dragging the asphalt.

I used to own a Honda ST70 and my mate could pop a wheelie and hold it for any distance he wanted.

Fortunately, I was born with a slightly larger brain, but smaller cojones :D :D :D

It looked and sounded like a stock exhaust to me. But he kept putting his feet down during the turns.
Was he using his feet to feel the clearance, hold the bike up motocross style, insecure? :?

Automatic reflex. My wife kept doing that during her motorcycle test. She knew better but her foot would just go down in a turn. It took a lot of practice before she felt comfortable enough not to put her foot down when doing a slow tight turn.

Trials riders can go straight up a wall or even backward without putting a foot down. On the other hand, Valentino Rossi puts a foot out at 200 mph entering a turn "because it feels good". Marc Marquez began the technique of putting his knee down in the turns. Everyone thought he was crazy until he won the MotoGP championship in his rookie year! Best to have all the tools and use the right one for the situation.

I think you meant elbow for Marquez not knee.

You can start by "pinging" the Buell up until you get used to it. It's ptretty safe.
