Indeed. . .St. Patrick was English. Back in the 5th Century he was taken from his homeland and brought to Ireland by slave hunting pirates (mean people). Lived there for about 6 years tending animals before he escaped back home to England. Then he found religion and the rest is history. . .

There are even theories that there were two St. Patricks. That was a long time ago. . .the facts are numerous and the spelling is too much like work.

That being said any excuse for a good party works for me!
