I am in Thailand and they sell PCX's painted/wrapped? With an American flag motif. I have also seen a couple with a British flag motif (could not find any pictures though)

I am assuming these are wraps.

Does anyone know of a place in Pattaya/Bangkok that could wrap a PCX?
I am not looking for anything too special .. just a clear wrap on my new 2017 for protection would be nice.
But, I could consider changing the color of the bike as well.

Thanks

Very interesting, If plastic protection is all you care about the cost to disassemble, wrap and reassemble would be FAR more than to purchase ALL new panels outright. If you could do the work yourself (I have tried carbon fiber) it would be good. But it's a specialized skill set I certainly don't have.

cocteau2x - just a small legal point

In Thailand, the color of the bike is listed in the green book. If you change the color, you will need to go to the Motor Vehicle office and get the book changed as well.

Not necessarily so Homie. It can be quite inexpensive to do something like that here in Thailand.

I found one in Pattaya that costs 9000 baht .... $255
and they can do it with the parts on the bike.

Hmm ... I think some of these parts are pretty easy to take off.
And there is a thread about how to do it by Maddiedog.
Looks like they are all easy except the front ...
so maybe I will strip it as far as I can .. to make it easy for them to wrap.

Leave the panels on so that they line up the design properly.
Its pretty easy to break clips when removing body panels, too.

another way of doing this would be to 'hydro dip' the panels .

used for really complex curved shapes - no creases guaranteed.

I had my F800R done o_O
