When I owned my Harley, I loved it, but it was very temperamental when it was cold outside. I don't know how many times I cussed it out in the winter because it did not want to start. I am sure that fuel injection solved that problem though. At least, I hope it did.

Slight detore here, but I always wondered on bikes with those tall and wide handlebars where the rider has their arms high and out-stretched, well - don't their arms get tired and what's the point/advantage?

Ape bars have no advantage, no purpose, no point other than style and cosmetics. Makes a statement that you will not be going very far very fast and you might just crash if any evasive actions are needed  Like spinning hubcaps... pure show.

Now that we have taken a detour, I will keep us on it ....

I seems ape hangers aren't too safe because some jurisdictions, such as New York State, do not permit handlebars to be more than the height of the operator's shoulders.

I think Ape bars should be mandatory equipment on snow mobiles after learning where the idea originated from 8) that was a very interesting video. Every year someone in Wisconsin runs up on a low hanging wire or rope and darn near decapitates themselves.

How about wire cutters like helicopters to prevent decapitations? o_O
