'Afternoon all!

Hi all, newbie joiner here. Just bought my PCX as an almost new with only 500 miles on it.

I'm really pleased with it - both performance and economy wise. I do find the rear end a little bouncy, but then my other bike is a TDM850 which is nearly twice its weight!

I've attached a pic...nothing out of the ordinary, but I'm pretty proud! Got a Givi mid-height screen on order, so any tips for how to change it would be welcome!

All the best,

FBSF.

Extraordinary! good color, never get tired of PCX pictures. It looks completely stock that's good. Did the previous owner mention any drive train modifications? You are coming up on an oil change would that be you doing it? If so you might read up on the tools needed to get at the oil screen, no filter on PCX. Don't over tighten the drain bolt, that kind of thing. It's run in by now, was the warranty transferred? Optional anyway, only a year unless extended. If you will be tooling it yourself it's no matter. If you want a service manual you can manage one but it might be a little tricky. Good luck and be safe... stay off the incident list please.

Thanks for all the welcomes - I was torn between a red one and a grey one, but as it only had 500 miles on it (and had just been dealer serviced) it seemed too good to pass on. I'm really enjoying it, and am currently playing the "how high can I get the mpg figure without holding up the traffic" - currently 124mpg (uk gallons) over the last 80 miles which I'm pretty happy with!

I'll let the dealer do the next service which is due in January, as it has warranty until March next year and is only an inspection service (we get two years warranty and breakdown cover as standard in the UK), but after that will be servicing it myself as I've servicing bikes as long as I've been riding them (25 years this year...wow, am I really that old!!) so am happy with a spanner.

And yes, my hair is rapidly starting to match the colour of the bike ;)
