I think the PCX has the perfect riding position, its right in between sit up right and sit in it position. Its a sporty feel however as time went on I detested that hump in the middle. I felt like I was riding a small horse throwing my leg over it each time. I prefer to hoop on and off so easy with a step thru. Looks wise the PCX is probably the best looking scooter ever made imo.
The Sym HD200 has great midrange power and a slight top end. Its feels like it wants to play with the big boys from 25-55 mph than it just does not have the CCs to contend.
If only Honda had made a 200CC PCX it would have been the ultimate ride. I find 300cc scooters too heavy for spirited riding in city.

Your ride report sounds like the two of you are a good match. Yes a 200 PCX would be grand, perhaps we'll see one, one day down the pike Rider safe and Enjoy the romance, she's a purdy one indeed!

I took my 1st ride on Seattle's freeways. Most people go 60-75 around here. The HD200 has a top speed of 72 according to SYM, I would not take my bike on the freeway for more than half an hour to one hr max. I just don't feel that safe on the freeway to be truthful. Not throttle to get yourself out of trouble, if this is the case with the HD being a bit more powerful than the 150 than by all means do not even consider extended freeway runs on the PCX150 with its 14 inch tires.
The absolute bare minimum for the freeway is the Burgman 200, I did not get that bike due to how ugly it is. I finally got adapted to the step thru and the sit up riding position of the HD200 and it can corner very well. I am going to ditch the stock Duro tires for Pirelli Diablo tires cause great tires are cheap insurance over the long haul.
