Schubert C3 Helmets BLACK fRIDAY

I finally picked up a Schuberth after they cut the prices to $329 (they were $475-500). A couple of things surprised me once I finally got to try one and get it sized. It is very light weight for a modular (a full lb lighter than my Gmax modular). Its very quiet. It I the only helmet I know of that you don't need ear plugs for. I tested it on a Harley and it silent. Maybe too quiet for some?

A word of warning on the sizing. They run very small. Expect to be at least a size larger (maybe two) than your normal helmet fit for most helmets. Also, you can get a padding replacement for them if they are too tight. They work great with the Sena smh 10.

Revzilla and Motorcycle Superstore among others marked them down..... I can remember them at $700+ not long ago before the Pro version. I needed a second passenger helmet anyways...

Nice, I have a helmet addiction, as well as others. LOL

I needed a second FF or modular helmet for passengers to start but for me the main thing was weight since I was buying another helmet anyway and went for the gusto. I wanted a lighter modular than the one I have now which is a tough nut to crack. The Schuberth manages to do very light weight and very quiet at just a few more dollars now (from what I read they use Kevlar to help lighten it). The Shoei Neotec was ok but both heavier and noisier. Being made in Germany I hope that the Schuberth is more reliable than BMWs.

Yep - that's where mine came from although other big dealers had it lowered. Now I need a second Sena smh 10. I have the extra helmet mount but need the snap-on unit itself. They are great.

Cheers guys!
I got in on the Schuberth C3 @ Revzilla too. I've been waiting along time for their Sale.
(Hear that sendler? I finally got one!!)

$329.00 is great and taking off another $45.00 made the deal sweeter for me. What does Revzilla call it...Zilla Cash? I had some of that in my acct.
My total cost $284.00 (Revzilla states msrp @ $629.00)
WOOT! 8)
Now I hope I got the right size

I had a little Zilla cash. Most of my local dealers have not even heard of a Schuberth. One out of five I asked.

I have three helmets now myself and six in the household. Does that make us helmet whores?

Some folks replace the C3 liner with the newer one if you get too much forehead/temple pressure for $50. I spoke to a guy who said you could adjust the foam and fix it in two minutes and don't bother if it is a problem. It really depends on the shape of your head.

Thanks tbln for all the great info (as usual ;) especially about the optional C3 liner. That's great.

I just left Revzilla's website refreshing myself on the Sena SMH10. I didn't know they had two SMH10 models, one says "Universal" in its title, the other doesn't. What's the difference between the two? There is a Price difference of $18.00, but what else?

Of the two above, Which one are you going to install in your Schuberth C3?
Will there be any interference with the SMH10 and helmet? Opening and closing, because it's a modular helmet?

Another choice: Have you thought about or considered pre-ordering the new Sena 10S? ($215.10) http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sena ... th-headset

I know we've talked about this topic of headsets before, so I thank you again for your patience and for sharing your experience with them with me/us :)

Wait! Did you get your C3? You must have by now. Helmets intrigue me. Icon has incredible designs and graphics! I had one years ago, a Dragon in red and black. Cool.
I presently own 3 going on 4. A Nolan 3/4, Nolan Modular, Shoei FF and the C3 Modular makes 4.
What was that name you called us?  (true, ain't it?)

I bought a second Sena helmet mount for the Sena smh10 when I bought the unit so I could switch it to my other helmet I already had but never put it on. I may just put it on the Schuberth for now. The module just snaps in and can go back and forth.

At some point Sena will discount the smh 10 to push the new models. I got my first smh 10 on a rare sale ($30 off) plus a additional 10% discount for $115 at Radiorider.com maybe six months ago. Sena is pretty hard core normally about controlling the prices. Radiorider.com often has $20 coupons off on them ($136) but I expect them to go lower again. Sometimes the sales are just one day there. They discount other models sometimes as well.
