Footrest for rear passenger on 2013 PCX

Post by yak »

When i swung out the footrest, something popped out and rolled away. It was a screw that holds 2 plastic parts together. The 2 plastic parts are directly beneath the footpeg. I checked the footpeg on the other side and the screw (looks a bit like a bolt) was tight. I have taped the 2 plastic parts together. Do i need to buy a replacement screw? Does it serve any purpose other than the obvious one?

The bolt simply holds the plastic parts together. Taping the plastics would work, but if it were my bike I would just buy the bolt from the dealer. It is probably only a dollar or so.
