Oh, that's awesome. I've seen the first one somewhere before, I don't remember where though. I'd want to try one on to see how good it actually is before buying. The concept is awesome.

I'm not sure about the "science" in the 2nd helmet though. The reason styrofoam works so well is, it bends as it deforms, lessening the impact. By layering, you might get less effective of impact absorption at certain speeds.

Wow that rear view is kinda cool! I constantly peek at my rear view mirror when I'm driving, so it being in my forward field of vision would probably not bother me, but I can see how it'd really mess with some people.

Rear view sounds a great idea to me, but I've been a cage man for 16 years so I'm used to a mirror "there". My gut feeling is that it would be more dangerous by bringing a false sense of security...

I think it would be harder to get into the habit of lifesavers if you "knew" there was nothing behind you.

Just my thoughts - please take the vast riding experience that I have (almost 3 weeks now...) into account [if you know what I mean!]

As to the second helmet: It looks like Iron Man has had a one-nighter-threesome with The Bride from Kill Bill and anyone from Tron. In short, I want one please!

I got one.
Pros
1. Can see behind.

Cons
1. The behind view has distortion. (It's not like the sample images )
2. Expensive
3. Heavy
4. Has problem in air flow
5. Big size

So sounds like you dont recommend these then? Are they too big to fit under the PCX seat?

Mine is XXL, it didn't get in there. lol.
And I had to remove ear covering part ,even it's winter. I wasn't able to input my head with my glasses while attaching the ear covering part.
Further more, if you wear glasses, the view from back mirror isn't through the glasses.
Even if there are many defects, if you really want to see back through the small mirror, buy it.
