keeping battery fully charged
How do you keep your battery fully charged? What do you recommend I buy to keep my battery "healthy and alive"?

I have about 4 or 5 of these. I think one finally gave out after 10 years. I rotate them around all my toys.
Still have 10yo batteries in some of my stuff...

I also use the battery tender on all my things that set through the winter. Works great.

The Battery Tender company also offer a nice selection of acessories, from phone chargers, cigarette lighter plug and a tiny voltage meter.
Happiness is two wheels and a full tank of gas!

Chuck Tuna is correct . This same tender can also be used on Shorai batteries. .....per Shorai.

I used Oxford Oximiser on my Italian bikes as they drained batteries a fair bit (alarm/immobilisers etc). Well worth the money. They are plug-and-play. All you need to do is fit the female end of the charging lead to your battery and position the connector somewhere convenient. The male (charger) end then just plugs in whenever you want to charge it.
These are top-up chargers which differ from trickle chargers. They check voltage drop and top up when necessary to maintain optimum charge.
Recommended if you lay the bike for a while. If you do lay the bike up consider running it now and then to normal operating temperature and keep the tank FULL of fuel to reduce risk of condensation in the fuel tank.
Depending on temperature/humidity and so on batteries can last from 2 years to 10 years on any vehicle.
