sendler2112 wrote:Looks good. Snaps right to 6,600 80-100 and then settles down to 5,300 cruising at 100 so no real loss of fuel efficiency. The first video shows barely a 400 rpm drift from 6,600 to 7,000 during the active phase before lock up. I always found in my PCX that the sliders seem to respond to changes faster than the rollers giving the bike a snappier feel. If you really want the best on ramp accel for the Forza, 17gm sliders might measure even a few tenths quicker with a pulling rpm above 7,000.
For now I am happy with the results, maybe later I will mount a hit clutch.

But still like to know if an slow and easy take of is also possible with the hit clutch.

mario,
6 dr pulley are better than combo?
I hope you find the best solution with your test.
the important thing is riding fan, that means good accelleration and speed......
Now you try 19 gr sliders, but if you go down in slider with weight: 18-17-16 ecc grams, do you think will be better?

Robert,

The 6x 19g Dr.Pulley give's me the most fun to ride till now, maybe 17g will give even more fun but for now I am done with experimenting and like it the way it is.

mario me too.... it looks like jcosta... but yesterday the honda dealers told me that jcosta ripping the variator belt, polini and malossi are better.
This variator look very interesting but seems like jcosta and is spanish too. Do you have any review about this variator?

Mario you put me the flea in the ear, this variator look so nice but It's impossible for me to find review about adiva variator. I want to know if is better than j costa. In some specialized forum they didn't speak well about j costa, because isn't reliable. The other option is Dr pulley variator dedicated to sliders dr pulley, but I didn't find any for honda forza 300...
Someone can help me? Have you more informations about these variators?
Thank You

Seems to have some unused low gear profile left over, is this normal?

Most scooters have unused material on the inner and outer of the vario. Yhe PCX has the same situation. Does it look like the flat area at the very center of the vario has been scrubbing against the face? If so, this is what is stopping the movement of the vario which leaves the unused metal at the outer. You can file this area down to gain a higher top gear ratio when using sliders as we did in the other thread about the 150.

I see the point with the rev limiter on the PCX but on the Forza (I think) it wont bring much, maybe a small advance on gas consumption.

I am in the market for a good clutch to gain more (faster) starting power.

At first I was thinking of a Dr.Pulley Hit-Clutch but someone on a Dutch forum recommends me a Kiss X2 Clutch from Tech Pulley (Thailand)

Can't find any info from both used on a Forza 300 so I was hoping that someone can enlighten me with my choice which one to take?

18g vs 19g, not much difference maybe 1/2 sec faster from 0 - 100km/h

Playing around with non reviewed variator's cost money, but the Malossi Multivar 2000 MHR is very populair and for what I see give's the fastest results, but with high-revs though.
