Rack for top box

Are there any standards in the racks or are they all different according to brand? If you buy Honda rack will Givi fit or is there no compatibility between brands?

I don't think they are compatible as Honda and Givi use different systems for mounting their top boxes. When I fitted a Givi rack (same as Honda) , I ignored the instructions that came with the rack and just removed the rear cover. The instructions ask you to drill the rear cover. I just taped over any exposed holes under the cover and saved the cover (undrilled) for mounting if I ever remove the rack. With the rack on, you do not notice that the rear cover is not there anyway.
