Most ridden PCX
Hi all.
New user on here but not a new PCX rider and I actually wanted to know if I hold the record for highest mileage PCX at 21,500 miles (2011 model). Also, Every one of those miles ridden by me .
Haven't been riding the PCX the last few weeks due to putting it up for sale; but in that time I have really missed it and am thinking I will re-insure it and start riding again (after my wrist is healed from binning the RXS 100 yesterday )
Anyway, quick picture of my PCX:
EDIT: Should also mention that in the 21,500 miles, the centre stand mounts have not given way yet. Might be useful for some of you to know if you're worried about it on your PCX.

Can't be the record (no idea what is) because my first White PCX 125 had 38,000+ on it when I traded it on a Red PCX 150.....
Ridin' and Socializin' the Southeastern USA on a 2014 Honda FORZA 300 Scooter...45+ years of Riding averaging 30,000 miles per year...!!!

Re: Most ridden PCX
You beat me on the mileage by a long shot, but welcome to the forums. The PCX certainly is a fun bike to scoot around on. Hopefully you heal soon.

With all these miles, have any of you had any significant issues mechanically with them?

Re: Most ridden PCX
I think I may have the record for the _least_ ridden PCX. Bought mine August 1, 2013, and only have 985 miles on it, or less than 50 miles/month. Too many bikes and too little riding time. Was going to sell it but it was worth so little that I'm essentially saving the PCX for my daughter, who can start riding next year.
2013 PCX 150 [now an ex-bike, soon to be consigned to the bottom line of the sig]
2013 Silver Wing ABS (Black)
1971 BMW R75/5 (White)
Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

Re: Most ridden PCX
There is another guy on here with well over 30k miles that has just done regular maintenance but never a valve adjustment. He changed the oil, belt, and spark plugs I think.

Re: Most ridden PCX
I've had my PCX 150 for a month. 34 miles. :-( (been too friggin cold so far in Wisconsin)
I just sold my Honda CM450, which had the same miles as the PCX of the guy who started this thread (21,500). I had that cycle for *31 years*. OK, admittedly I really haven't ridden it a lot since college, oops. Time to fix that with my new fun PCX... hahahahahahaha

Re: Most ridden PCX
I just can't imagine letting such a great little scooter sit around. My wife's 2013 has a little over 11,000 miles, while mine is the newest of the two (both are red 2013 models) and it has 3,000 miles on it. These little scooters are meant to be ridden. I don't know how many comments we have had about ours. We even had someone on a different scooter pull up to us at a light and ask how we liked our pcx's...he had recognized what they were when he was a block away from us. We also saw someone else on a PCX who had not modified theirs yet. They gave us a thumbs up. What MRE needs to be said about them... :-)
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Welcome to the forums!
There's a guy who hardly posts here in Florida who checked in with around 40k miles sometime last year. You have a long way to go.

Re: Most ridden PCX
I would like to do a few 1400 mile round trips on my "new" 2011. 60 mph a lot of the way?. Is this wishful thinking? I traded a Burgman 400 for it because Im in an urban environment 99.5% of the time. For that other ".5" of a percent, could a road trip through the mountains of Tennessee into SC or scenic route from KY into upstate NY and VT be a reality? I would never have thought of a road trip on a 125 until I got this PCX. Im totally amazed at what comes in a 125 scooter these days. Have any of you actually (ab)used one in this manner?
Thank you, LM in KY
