First service done.

Post by jkhawaii »

The valves were a bit tight, more than .03mm, but they still had some clearance.
It sure is not all to easy. If a dealer is charging less than $150 (US) for the first service there is no way they are actually pulling the valve cover! I found there was no need to remove some of the parts that were shown removed on another post. 1 being the body cover as it is called (the rear plastic trim with the PCX emblems) 2 the belt side fan cover (just turn the engine by hand with the engine fan.

It's not easy to stay motivated to work while at home ether. Like now... I should be installing the last bits back on my scooter instead of posing on this forum.
