PCX Swag

Post by maddiedog »

With a kid on the way, and my hatred for ads on websites, I'm considering ways to at least break even on my investment in this forum. I've never monetized it, and won't add ads or anything. I've had offers to buy it before, but never enough to justify the sale, and plus, the site would likely get ads added and such...

I've seen people mention in some threads that they'd want stickers to show their interest in the PCX, so would anyone be interested in nice, vinyl stickers of the PCX? I'd probably make ones similar to the one in this thread that another member made: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=391, but the stickers would say hondapcx.org below the silhouette of the scooter. I could even sell them in the factory colors (white, black, red)

So my question to you is above... answer accordingly! :D

I'd likely sell them for something like $5 shipped in the USA and mail em via USPS.

I'm pretty new here, but would be happy to help out some way, be it a sticker purchase or straight donation. How intrusive would ads get?

I'm not sure I'd want stickers, but I'd be happy to make a donation.

Why not add a paypal link in for donations. Club merchandise would be good.

You can do something like http://society6.com/ where you give them your logo, and people can chose shirts, sweaters, iphone cases etc, and they do it all for you, you just only provided the logo. Of course they get most of the profit but it would be a good way without you ordering 500 shirts and stickers to save a few bucks and only have 10 people buy them. Just a thought.

I'll accept donations, see here: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1916. Originally, I had planned on not doing so, but it has been mentioned and requested so many times I gave in. Plus, who turns down money? :P

Looks like we're at 5 interested parties in stickers so far. We'll see how the poll keeps going -- if I get more than 20 "yes" answers, I'll probably make stickers.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, I'll look into more merchandise with the logo later this week.
